Narrow margin of victory. Great win for Miu.

The competition has gotten fierce in IV.28.

There is serious competition in the league. I see at least 5 teams with a legitimate shot at claiming the top spot when it's all said and done. You'll be glad when you're finally successful because the tough competition helps prepare you for stiffer competition.

I can tell you from my experience thus far this season it damn sure doesn't get any easier. Loads of great managers in the USA.

League IV.28 Breaking News:

The Big Dawgs (currently 4th in Great 8) are making headlines with 4 new acquisitions to beef up their lineup.
The team shelled out a little over $1 million to bring in the new talent, who collectively add approximately $50,000 to their salary payroll.
After surviving relegation in Season 22 and squeezing into the fourth seed in last season's playoffs, the Big Dawgs have displayed promising growth and these new acquisitions will certainly help propel their momentum.

Don't really see why they bought Titus for 252k. I've seen his skills and IMO they're mostly below average for 20 year old but to each their own I guess

Interesting moves.

In the last week they sold an aging star in Dusza and an aging backup player; a move that netted them nearly 300k and an opportunity to get younger and evolve their team for the future or expand the arena.

Today alone they've blown over 1,000,000 on acquisitions that dont make sense to me. The newly acquired players range in age from 20 to 30, in height from 6' - 6'10" and potential from allstar to superstar. Nobody above 15k salary so I doubt any will be complete dominators in the league. Varying heights and potential levels make me doubt this was a move to acquire young talent to train as the future of the franchise.

Add in the increase of 53k combined salaries for a mediocre team that should be banking as much as possible until they can truly make a run at a championship and I'm truly perplexed.

If this wasnt an effort to aquire trainable young guys and damn sure isnt enough to propel a 6-6 team to the upper echelon of the league what the hell was the point? I project this to be the single biggest fail in IV.28 by the end of the season. The only positive thing I can see in this is that their team is rather deep now (deep with 10k guys...)

If you read the forums Big Dawg, please explain to us what this was.

I completely agree.
I looked at him but his horrible handling and lack of skills overall for his age made me pass on him even for the #3 trainee spot.
Odd move.

Looking forward to take my revenge at the game against Big Dawgs on 8/10:)
They have quite a team already and these trades will make them even stronger.
