You don't need to put words in my mouth. I know what my position is, and it has nothing to do with any professional sports league in RL. I just don't thnk this particular change is needed or maybe even warranted.
And there is another side to this coin. The team that is bidding on the player may very well want to keep bidding if he is injured, and if you void the sale then they are hurt through no fault of their own.
No proposition is one-sided.
