inside shots are close to the basket.. 2 point jump shots are presumably what your guy takes and makes a lot of.
I don't have this impression from watching him play. He also scores a lot in the zone.
Your 3p percentage is maybe a little low, but its kind of meaningless to evaluate based soley upon the offensive skills... i need to know the average defenders your guy is facing and how many 3s are good opportunities created by good passing and balance etc, and which are ones he is forced to settle for. there are lots of factors that go into a person's shooting percentage... just ask a former Phoenix Sun.
Well... many defenders in my league are definitely not very good, in the last game a center with $ 2 340 wage defended him, but he still managed to miss 10 of his 15 threes. ;)
I bought a PG with very good passing skill, so he should get good opportunities, let's see if his percentages improve in the next games... or at least when I train his passing skill... I hope his percentages will go up some day. :D
If not, I blame it on BB! ;)
What I think is important is that everything about the game should be understandable.. surprises should happen but things should never be inexplicable.
If I buy a PG with high passing skill and his TO numbers are very low, that's perfectly understandable, but if I have a SG with good shooting skill (for my league level), then it's not really understandable that his 3P percentage is way lower than those of players with clearly inferior shooting skills (e.g. my old PG hat respectable for both shooting skills and made 43% of his threes)...
