I'm kinda surprised to see that the winner of last seasons 3point contest may not even defend his title.

But ok, his .37 3FG% would be just to low to enter it I guess.

lol i am sure the formula to pick all star players doesnt take into count in which league he made minutes. your guy played a lot this season (maybe not in your league but he did) and that is why he was picked...

might i add that having all star voting without controversy would not only be unrealistic, but probably not any fun ;)

I am a bit frustrated about nominations. Yes, my turnover is quite high and there is not as much exposure as other teams. I am currently first in my conference, with highest rank in 3-points shooter and in per-game evaluation, and finally my SF is ranked among top tens in PPG and top-15 in RPG (and this SF played all but one or two games).

No nomination at all... And in my conference's team I noticed a player of a bot ("fedelissimi"), now re-assigned to human.

so i looked at your players, i dont think you have much of a case for your player
first i will point out that your player did get a nomination, he was 3rd in voting.

second, look at the stats..

the leading vote getter
21 PPG, 8.4 RPG, 1.9 SPG, 47% from the field
also on a team with the same record

the second place vote getter..
19.8 PPG, 10.8 RPG, 1.2 SPG 44% from the field

and finally your player
15.6 PPG, 8.7 RPG, 1 SPG 46% from the field

I dont know.. 5 points more and 2 rebounds more a game is a big gap. Clearly you have no case to be the number 1 vote getter. With regards to the second vote getter, his team has a worse record than yours.. question is how much a difference that makes.

Clearly this isn't blatantly wrong.. maybe controversial... but if it were swapped than whoever was voted out would be up in arms.

thank for your answer and for the time spent. It makes sense, although, as you stated, may be controversial. On the other side, Benedetto Ruella is 1st as 3 points shooting percentage, 12th in 3-pts shoots. Although just 12th, ASG should have "best" shooters.

Anyway, not a problem to me. ASG is not the main goal of the season, of course. In NBA too, if you are a great player but not the most popular you could not be selected to ASG. It is just an opportunity to understand logic and mechanism of the game.

thank you again

All-star team becomes very strange most of the time. My backup SG was voted in as reserve while my regular was not. None of the SG's and SF's are close to same level as mine in all-star team. But of course reason is that I alternate positions for my players to get best possible training. If I wanted to have optimal number of players in all-star team I would chose players for that purpose instead of training but there is no reason to do so.

By the way, in 3-point shotout 4 players from inactive team will participate of the 6 chosen. A rather strange thing to happen ...

I just wanted to say I think that the mechanism for choosing the 3 point candidates and all stars is more than fair. Mainly cause my team Onski Mooses (38823) that is average (8-5 record) managed to get 4 players in the 3 point shootout. And three of those players are starting in the all-star game. So yeah the mechanism is awesome.

Just a query, does any team have more players than 4 in the 3 point contest and 3 starters in the all-star game? Or is it just me. Please note I am only gloating as I have had a frustrating season and its about time something went right for me. :P

i am very bitter. can you imagine not a single player off mine made the starting 5 all star spots. I have sleeples night, am crying all day long and wondering if the hoop is high enough to stick my head in upset down and always hide there :)
