nothing actually new team teams from being scammed today...new teams can still pay the same $200k for a scrub 25yo HOF


I think this is an important point. There are always bad deals for new players to get scammed on. I would argue its even worse now for new players because of the crazy prices. Before there were more day traders but you could get good players for great prices. Now you can have new players pay 500k for some 38yo and it's not even considered a scam because it's "fair market value."

There was also a time when I could sell this player for 1.5M and that was his value market:

That was season 10 though and I'm not sure but I'm guessing he would have been a decent player for that era, though I get your point about market value.

Everyone(including me!) wants to buy low and sell high. Teams that have good players want to be able to sell them at crazy prices and teams who don't have them want to be able to buy them dirt cheap.

To get the thread back to being positive, Scotland has seen a huge increase in new users lately (for Scotland anyway). We even have a full Div I now!
