One question about new B3 format. Are you ready for situation with odd number of participant in new season?
My suggestion for this situation is calling best team in world rank which is not qualified for the season by any present rule (league winners, cup winners and all B3 winners).

Can look like this, but finally it can be someone else, if I lose the semifinal of the league I probably drop from the current 4th place maybe out of top10?
Do you have better idea which team can be the one if needed? Maybe the best team in last B3 season which is not in? It would be Larranaga this time.

Just a suggestion, but the qualifier could be run the last week of the previous season.

I remember there were issues with the world ranking before. Have they been fixed? If not, does it matter?

How it can be run last week of the previous season until champions are not known? New model of B3 has 13 weeks plus one free week for allstars, so there is not week left in 14 weeks season.
I still haven't received BBs ansnwer for question what week is scheduled first round and what week final.

Simple: make the runner up and winner automatic qualifiers.

Also, a pet peeve of mine. Remove the aspect where all previous winners automatically qualify.

I mean league champions, not B3 champion. In week you suggested is not known world wide in every single country who is qualified.

Isn't everything finished by the Sunday? If so, any qualifying games can happen immediately following the off-season processing. Then start the tournament the week after.

It might mean that qualifying games happen the same week as the B3 final. But if both teams in the final get a spot, then the issue is solved.

The issue isn't solved. Because odd or even number of participants depends on how many teams all around the world get double (league and cup win). There should be special rule which garantee addind one more team if the number is odd, but if the number is even, this rule wouldn't be aply.
With your suggestion of special qualify round, which teams play this qualification and which get automatic participation in group play?
