"......and I want to thank tough for bringing me here. I've learned a lot from Daniel and Forjaz, who was basically James and I's mentor, showing us how to score in the paint, drawing fouls, how to defend an opponent easily without fouling. I also learned a bit from N.C about passing as a BIG, and hopefully maybe I could be learning some OD in a while.......well thanks team and GO MOUNTAIN EAGLES!!!!!!!!!!!!" Now2 here we are with coach Marcus Terrence, "WHOA!!!! A gator dun on me and tough! Hahahahahaha man I'm cold now..... I was jumping up and down after we had sealed it. Tough was a lil busy watching Chekreyes game from his iphone and was like, WOW! steal by March. Good job Chek. Then I was like, "tough! look at the clock! Then he started jumping up and down and then I noticed the fans started Celebrating by saying "D and D! D and D! I guess they meant Dekis and Delvallee....idk but hey this is our first champioship of many. Many, many more are to come in the future. Here's now the trophy presentation....the comisssioner of V.89: "Well, thank you fans for supporting your teams this season in League V.89. Also we want to congratulate Cometahalley and CRF Flamengo for their valiant effort to win these finals, and wish them the best in S21. But now here we are with the CHAMPION of V.89. Here you are fols the V.89 Champion MOUNTAIN EAGLES!!!! We all know what happened last season, I guess we'd expected something like this for a team like this. This team worked day in and day out, training, practicing, and getting better. So here we are now this day, with tough and his team. Celebrating a GREAT GREAT, and EXCITING season of action, including the battles of Bode-Diggity Dogs vs. Mountain Eagles, The Chicago Scrappers vs. 76ersss fights, then the Dundalk DoubleDribblers vs. CRF Flamengo, the WAR Then also those upsets, and many many other exciting things like triple doubles, 40 pointers, and the Gang Song era beginning in New York. But now we present to you, the V.89 trophy! Here you go tough!" Now I spoke to him, "How does having a trophy already feels? "Man Gold is the Standard. Silver is good, but Gold is always what you're going for. Our team had to do a reboot, otherwise we may have well been 22-0. I mean yeah 22-0 seems classy but 21-1 is the way to go when you're TIEing for the future ;) So what we did was amazing. We actually beat a team better than us. But it was a close affair. A expert said it was a 4 point difference in favor of me. But for real.....LI is great when you the passing ad then the assets, like the IS on Dekis, Forjaz, Coleman were great. Then our whole team had a great passing distribution, which made for a lot of penetration and some easy buckets. Also we had the JS and high shooting percentages of Catandil, Max, and Johnson that were pure shooting threats from anywhere on the court. Our team was so versatile that we were almost unbeatable. Yeah Cometahalley tried but I guess we weren't beatable in a LI offense. Also now I want to than everyone that helped me make this trophy possible. First, is my mentor Chekreyes, who had helped me develop and mold my team to what it is now. Also he kept believing in James Coleman and I now have made Coleman a beast inside......He also won III.6 tonight by 1 point!! How about that!!! Man, hope he does well in D2 ;) I think he can do it. Also want to thank my friend here Cometahalley for making this league as competitive as it was, these were great games that were watchable til the final 5 minutes hehehe. Well also want to thank such people who advised me to reboot my team. First guy I want to mention is Prof. Bricks of Shooter Tooters who made the statement.......

"...............First guy I want to mention is Prof. Bricks of Shooter Tooters who made the statement.......

Ok clearly my sarcasm wasn't obvious enough. So I will be very clear with as little sarcasm as possible.

First, this is the Help forum. You ask a question and those that know some things about this game will answer your question as best they can.

Now by your own admission, in a previous thread you said you just joined this game, and clearly have been very active (which I commend you) with your team and on these forums. But as you said you have relatively little knowledge of the game.

When you ask a question and someone answers it, and it is not what you want to hear, maybe what you want to hear is not possible.

For example, you asked about your SF "prospect" and you were told by some people, myself included, that he was too old to be a prospect and that you should probably find another younger one. You then proceded to disagree with our suggestion. Then one "compassionate" person paid a compliment to your player and you responded by thanking him for saying something "good" because he said something that you wanted to hear.

Moving on to this post. You asked what you should do in your next game. You received an answer. You did not like the answer and are now trying to get people to tell you something you want to hear.

Lesson of this post: Listen to those that answer your questions, they probably know what they are talking about. If the answerer is wrong there are a ton of people that enjoy sharing their knowledge and will correct what he said.

That is all.

That was and still is the best advice I've ever heard (sorry Chekreyes you're advice is still GREAT, but this post led me here)
Also I've heard for the GM of San Diego Pitbulls that I should reboot my team and that I should build arena. I did that and now 3 months later I am champion. Thanks to both. I also want to than the rivalries and the beatings I got, like me beating Bode-Diggity Dogs time after time like the Giants beating the Pats. And also that 50 point blowout on the Chicago Scrappers, I enjoyed that.......Man this has been a great season and I wish all the guys I thanked the best. Well time to party!!!!!!!" Now the comiss: "We now present to you the MVP of the Finals Award. These players are the ones that played their heart out for this and have earned it. This season's finals MVP is..........Maxime Delvallee!!!!!!!!! Here you go you earned it Max!" "Man MVP too!!!!!! Awesome!!!!! Can't wait for D4. Let's go Mountain Eagles!!!!!!!!! Well there you have it. Fans are going wild and are buying jerseys rapidly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MOUNTAIN EAGLES, THE SEASON 20 V.89 CHAMPIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wish us luck in S21.....ANyways stay tuned to see what league we end up in, along with the current draftees we get. Anyways these are The Eagle reporters, reporting for the Eagle.....along with a few of The Laser Limelight and Seawolve Standard reporters as they helped with this very very long trio-post report

I came here and saw three new posts in your thread, but I'm having a hard time figuring out what happened in your playoff game. Do you think it would have been nice to mention whether or not you won?

It's good of you to post that. What I want to know is why we had to wait for you to post that when tough should have been posting that himself.

Well Well Well what have we here? I am one of the biggest proponents of ridding the forums of these newspapers, but I have been told that I was mentioned a few times in this one and decided to come check out why I have become a Buzzer Beater sensation. Alas, to my suprise, my consulting services have been received with great success and resulted in a championship! I must start charging for my advice....hmmmmmm I guess I will have to start thinking of a good name.

Congrats! Good Luck in seasons to come!
