the main difference between U21 and senior team is, players in U21 team are mostly work in progress, and in NT it's more about short term strategies. There sure are players in senior team that are being trained and have room for development but overall concepts are different.

you got the point. U21 is always WIP, every season you almost restart from scratch (that would mean you have 12 talents out of a generation), or at least 50% (as this season and next one).

@Rambo: That is why in U21 you work on primaries first. Depending on material, you can develop some secondaries (but just in case, and although what is secondary in a PG is quite complex to be defined). If you have a SG with 4-5 in PA, you can just keep it if you don't have very well defined primarie (JS 14+, OD 13+, JR 11+). In NT, you can decide to train Fanesi as PG for one or two seasons and make him a devastating PF. In U21 a PF is typically a C with some secondary "by born"

I don't disagree with you. I think the position has to be taken in context though. Yes you are basically looking at washing the roster each season in the U21 BUT if you grow your user base and prospect base you can afford to look more into secondaries. The bulk of your roster will be focused in the ~3 primary skills per position but I strongly feel that on a roster of 18 or so players you should be able to carry someone with some secondary skills that are unique and can help you run a specific strategy to beat a team who might be stronger on paper.

I'm not ignoring primaries in any sense but to say secondaries are meaningless or that it is useless to develop a strategy around them is short sighted in my opinion.

Do any South Africans have any questions or is this going to result in a 0-0 tie?

Agree. Wherever possible, even at 21yrs, secondaries should be taken in consideration. So far, unfortunately, no SA player was so good to have time on that let's hope better in the future.

This following point does not regard you directly, but I want to share it with all of you candidates. I am quite BB-angry about new draft rules. In general, I repeatedly asked for having the opportunity to manage a draft, not random extract it with scouts just eating money.

However, when bots are "allowed" to have a decent pick, that means the death of countries as SA in terms of U21.

This season we had ONE single tall man 18yrs with potential 5+. And he is definitely not a great player. By two mandates, SA could play just with guards... If you take out of 12 somehow decent draftees some to bots... well, how to set a NT team??? Luckily for you guys, this does not affect NT...at least for a long while.

Just to share my sadness with you guys.

Pretty disappointed no one has asked a single question from SA. I wonder if anyone is going to vote. BlackMouse do you have an endorsement?
