i believe this to be partially true , from what i could see you end up with slightly lower overall income from your arena.
but it costs alot more to build.

i think that is true ;) But i won't think that i loe money every game, as i said i tried Laim configuration last season and lost a lot of money true it, this time i don't get to the cap with raising my bleachers from 18 to 19(and lost income through it, and i expect that the cap start around 19k visitors), ok my opponent is far away from beeing attractive but succesful team had at least 2k person more who are willing to pay 20$ for a game.(and as is aid i am currently overated, through a nearly perfect schedule and some respect who avoids that my opponent try hard)

550k per game isn't that far off what I get from my 15k stadium!

Attendance: $ 485 275

Are you kidding me? I make 65K more a home game..time that by 11 and that is 700,000 over the course of the season...To me...That's pretty far..

For being all knowing and perfect, you don't really pay attention do you? He said, based on the fact that he has only 15 thousand seats, its not far off. He is not saying that 65K is no big deal, but you have more than 5000 more seats in your arena than he does. Based on that, he indeed is not far off. Come on Yellow Jello, if you are going to preach as though people should worship you, you need to at least respond appropriately to what they say!!

Mahody......Weren't you the one who sent me a scrimmage request last week? What? Didn't you look and see if I already had your flag? Talk about paying attention...
....Are you upset that I called you on your two pops of experience in 3 weeks lie... It didn't happen. You know it and I know it.
BTW...For him to make up that 65K a home game he would have to load up on more bleachers which he would not be able to sell out. I actually thought his 6000 Lower Tier was a pretty cool Idea except for the low price. I would rather have 5000 at $45 than 7000 at 30$. When he does buy more bleachers, the fans are going to be less likely to buy the lower tier tickets. I do wish I could go back and lower my bleachers to about 15,000. But Oh well. As long as I win, the fans will come.
My perfect arena..
15000 bleachers at $18
5000 Lower tier at $45
500 Courtside at $177
50 Lux. Boxes at $850
That would get you $633K for a sell out...

Sorry im too lazy to check but are you selling your seats at around 99% for each section or so to maximise profits? Or is it not selling out.

To SammyD, I had this talk with Zyler the other night and the funny thing was he was all for the type of arena that promotes greater % of lower tier. All i said was that the two top teams in BB seem to be selling out just fine with a greater number of bleachers. Anyways the only point of my post was to say his done a lot, (prolly to much) research into stadium builds. He knows what he is talking bout. Anyways what you guys say make sense, just it doesnt seem to be working that way. If it does show me an example.

Edit - I struggle!

Not true. A fan will buy the most expensive ticket he can afford. So if I build more bleachers it wouldn't affect how many lower tiers I sell at all unless I change the price.

my research has shown what sammy is saying here is true.

and as j dog said i was all for the higher lower tier stadiums until i did this major research.
it simply does not work.

so far from what ive seen its looking like

16k bleachers - 4 k lower tier - 500 court - 50 boxes is how ill build my arena.
