Btw, some opinion from a BB would be appreciated for many managers.

Are you thinking to introduce any change on the play-off incomes or this is not a priority? (or still surprised many managers are hoping for a change in this issue)?

This is definitely a serious problem.

Here are my ideas.

- Have a playoff TV Contract that is double the original and you only get this if you are in a playoff game that week.

- Have Ticket Prices double during the playoffs for playoff teams to increase the revenue. (higher price would not affect attendance)

- Teams could also receive a little boost to merchandising while in the playoffs (better with each round). This could gradually decline through the next season and perhaps normalize near the half way point of the following season.

In general i agree with the idea.

I think lot of people agree with the idea to make a high increase of the play-off incomes. There are different ways to do it, like a Cup system income or increasing the TV contract(since it's more important a play-off game) or if not giving more importance to the performance of the last season.


The game needs a change in this aspect, I hope for a change for next season, or least something to start changing this stand by's dynamic before the play-off.

2 teams facing each other and playing for the 5th position, both of them did walk-over.

I'm sure it's not the only example we had today.

I don´t understand why the win is for the visitor team¿? I thought that if there is a double wo the home team wins.

As already suggested, some of that vague money (that is mainly due to arena fullness) needs to become a price money.
It will not change the outcome of the game (same money will be won upon place), but it will just make it clearer.

This game is going downhill, sadly.

From 1 year on BB is stuck, with nothing new and what´s worse...without expectations of something new.

We´re aware of we need some changes, but it´s not happening a thing, less than 50K users again, the market is full of cheats (as usual but cheats anyway), and having some issues that make this game really short therm.

Or we change or we die, no more.

Things to change:

*WO should be hardly punished, and playing with 5 bad players and even less than 5 players should be a shock for the incomes, could you imagine Lakers or Celtis playing with 3-4 players and 2 lucky fans an NBA match? LOL!!!!!!!!! Not serious, not fun.

* To get this we should change something about cup matches, no one can play 3 games per week in a reliable way; so, you´re forced to shorter your roster and throw some (or a lot) games during the season. 50% of the minutes played in cup matches to be added to the weekly minutes? It could be an option...I don´t really know, but we need ideas.

*Minimum salary should be at least the double, it´s nor serious allowing re-construction of fanchises with no players, no salaries and huge earning per week, and the funniest thing is that if u lose a game for 2-5 points your fans react in the same way that if you lose by 60, insane!

*I saw another games which calculate an avarege of good players used to calculte the happiness of your sponsors and fanas (see Pro Cycling Manager 2011).

*Play Offs are currently a joke, no one wants to play if you can´t promote or win a tilte, why am I gonna play if I will lose loads of money? This is killing top leagues, and we won´t change, or I can´t see any wind of change.
1-should be the best position.
2-should be the second best position.
....
4-and PO should be much better than 5.
5-should be much better than 6.
...
8-should be like it´s being right now, a cataclysm.

Example:
*In I spanish division if you are 5th you will earn for 2 weeks --> Tv+merchandising-staff = 250K per week, 500K per PO.

*If you´re 4th and you lose in first round:
TV+merchandising+1/3 tickets - salaries-staff = -400K aprox. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!! +250K (the week you don´t play) = -150K, the difference is -650K comparing 5th against 4th.

*If you win and you lose in second round:
TV+merchandising+2/3 tickets - salaries-staff = -220K aprox. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!! + 250K (the week you don´t play) = 30K, the difference is -470K comparing the conference finalist vs 5th.

*If you play the final in 3 games maximum:
2x(TV+merchandising)+6/3 tickets - 2x(salaries-staff)= 80K!!!!! 30K, the difference is -420K comparing the league finalist vs 5th.

INSANE!!!! This is killing us, this is killing BB.

Of course this makes that most of 3th and 4th of each confence try to sell loads of players to save money with salaries and the impact in the league is so powerful, PO are really ridiculous.

Conclusion: if you can do a stand by without relegation you´ll be powerful next years. So do it and make this still more harmful.

*No graphic update since..............II World War.
*No jerseys, no images, no customization. Men, this is always attractive and the whole competitors have it. This makes me feel this game is being abandoned, day by day, and believe me, this makes me really sad.

Now, you can reply me, but please, use some arguments ;)
