Here we go again, now you know I could've killed his team with the old players I had if they showed up, next time I meet them though, I'll CT them to kill em.......by then my main trainee C (James Coleman) will be at least at sensational IS (I'm training IS right now)

PS I think I'll TIE this next game cause this team is a bad 6th seed

Headless T Gunner was saying that having a 76k player in div V would be the opposite of tanking so you bringing it up in a discussion about tanking makes zero sense.

Honestly tanking really isn't a problem in our country. In our case it''s more of the boredom of playing in the same league season after season when you reach league 2 that some decide to tank in the end. When you stay in league 2 for 4 to 6 seasons, you meet the same teams over and over again. Sometimes I wish BB would mix up the teams randomly in league 2 every season so that opponents would vary. There are just some leagues that have teams that are so tough that it's hard to promote to the next level.

I've been in my league for 12 seasons now, and it hasn't gotten any less enjoyable. Besides, you get a minimum of 5 new teams every season, and develop good rivalries. What you seem to be saying is "I wish BB was easier."

With respect to tanking, I'd assume the best answers are:

1. Have attendance based more on league position, team record and point differential rather than whether or not you won your last road game.

2. Raise the PSF, for crying out loud.

3. Nobody should want to buy merchandise for a team that loses every game by 40+. Did anyone buy any Charlotte Bobcats jerseys this season?

4. Do something to reduce the massive disparity between the divisions, and I have a feeling that tanking will all but disappear. (e.g., if the difference between D2 and D1 was a 20% reduction in income rather than an >80% reduction (same goes for D3 to D2, etc.), the game as a whole would instantly become much more competitive.)

I agree with 4th statement. The difference is just ridiculous. Its very hard to stay at the league you promote to. For example what i have seen. Winning all games in div 4 allowed me to get somewhere around 210k income. While in div 3 i can get like 350k. 75% or so increase is bullshit. Thats why teams who are demoted back from higher division usually win their league, go back to higher division then tank again, and so on. They become much economically stronger and its pretty hard to compete with them. Well i did last seazon, nearly bancrupted, since ended seazon with -640k:D but promoted:) Other guy probably lost 2 mill during that seazon. Now i have no cash to cempete, no arena. So decided to tank myself and expand arena:) Arena is the bigest tresure in this game.

It maybe true that tanking helps newly promoted teams to be more competitive in the future and it's a good thing, but if old and rich teams start to tank when it even more hurts other teams that play fairly.

It's actually funny how long BB stated that tanking is not a problem, it's a bad strategy, but lot of teams are tanking it and will keep doing it. I hope after a while they will also realize that salary cap is not a bad thing.

Tanking? Is this the new name? I think we do not need stop with that, 'cause nobody know the real problems of other teams, like mine. I am doin' this because I can't go on, cannot win, so I need to make some money, train some players, and later, make a new team, what can make me go to the II Division.
