I think you beating around the wrong bushes. Driving is important. Handling is important. At the end of the day, they still need that one or two extra bucket a game to improve the fg%. That will come from IS. You still need a deeper skilled player than strictly primaries. Run a couple guards out there with any mixture you stated of JS and JR with good driving and handling and 11 or 12 IS and you are going to have a fairly effective guard in an outside offense (more IS for a truly elite guard). Granted, those cost tons of cash, so you will have to probably train them, but the trade off is, they are equally effective in neutral and inside offenses. They just cost a lot more per week than an LI guard. The trick is to find the right mix of Bigs to make it work. You can sacrifice ID on the bigs if you run the OD up. Unfortunately, you might have to train these as well.

After dispatching "bosten celtic" in tonight's Cup game, I'll move on to face "bolton celtics" next week. I had to do a double take because I thought I was somehow facing the same team two weeks in a row.

Man, Mark Horner is listed on the TL again. Over the past few seasons, I don't think there's been a single player listed as often as he is.

List him for $1 million, and watch 3 days fly by without a bid, and then list him for $750K, and after 2 days with no bid see his TPA drop to 500K, and then relist him for 400K, and watch his TPA drop to $250K, and still not sell, and relist him for $250K again, and then see his TPA change to: Players like this haven't transferred recently...and then be stuck with the crappy vet I bought I for $50K.

You know normally I agree, but when I looked it said 20 players like that were transferred. So I think he still won't sell, but apparently there was a start-of-the-season window of opportunity here. If the game lets me buy players with that kind of salary the next time I finish fifth, I might try it!

Lost the last road game but attendance went up for today's home game. Don't ever remember fans were that forgiving. Anyone experiencing the same?

Remember home attendance is no longer solely based on your last road game....now its based on your last 3-5 games.
