Actually, I've got kind of the opposite feeling: as a primarily outside-focused team, I think there are way too many LI guards on the market right now, but we really lack "pure" guards with enough JR to play outside tactics. Of course guards with low secondaries even for inside tactics (but still lacking JR) are very cheap as compared to pure LI guards with high IS/ID, but there are really few options for purely outside comboguards, who are able both to create the offensive flow and score. But that may be just my impression
Say for example I would look for sb/id in young player with the correct height so I can train him as guard. This way you can have defensive a outside guard on the cheap. Its hard to find such player but it very possible, I have 4 on my team right now..
