Not a fan of the 19 year olds having unobtainable skill sets of a season trained 18 year old.

Jump Shot: proficient (9) Jump Range: proficient (9)
Outside Def.: proficient (9) Handling: inept (4)
Driving: prominent (10) Passing: proficient (9)
Inside Shot: prominent (10) Inside Def.: prominent (10)

You cannot train this in a single season for an 18 year old even if everything started at respectable.

Agreed, most 18 year olds are now worthless. The market is flooded with 70+ TSP 19 year olds, plus they can start with 9-10 in difficult to train skills (e.g IS/ID for a guard, OD for a big).

No I am saying that 18 year olds are pointless now, 19 year olds are far superior. If proficient was the top potential skill cap it would still be 19 year olds but prominent is a joke.

Statements of this kind...Do i know anything about BB? Maybe i know nothing about players and players development in BB.

No, I take part in building the best players in the world for Israeli teams and for the Israeli NT.

I did say most. Yes if you are trying to train an elite player to play in B3 ten seasons from now then you are likely going to want one of the handful of 18 year old 50+ TSP HOF guys. Maybe a handful of high TSP players will be valuable for U21 farms as well.

But for normal teams doing normal training (the majority of BB) I still believe there's little point to them. Just buy the 19 year old 70 TSP version and save yourself the time and cost of a season of training.
