You have said all along that this is not your season.

Yeah I know, that's why a chucked a pokey tongue smiley at the end of my sentence. ;-)

Reckon I'll be giving El Hag a bit of a run in first round of the finals though! Can't see myself beating Aussie at his arena though, nor the likely Big 8 victor either. So really no point in me progressing past first round, other than that additional payment would be nice.

While injuries are part of this game there is always a chance.

I play Battrick as well. Didn't really have the patience to learn the game and training seem slow so decided just to be an U19 farm team. Had my guy in the U19 World Cup winning team and should have another U19 guy next season. Also play Charazay (Basketball), Basketsim (Basketball) and Trophy Manger (Soccer) but BB is my favourite.

nice. dont have the patience to train... the slow pops kills me (once per 6-7 weeks?) lol. e.g. hattrick have so much stuff to learn and there are actually OP tactics and lineups that you just have to run one of them or you would lose.

basically comes down to no more patience and when you dont even like hattrick, everything else that just seem to copy it just appear to be god awful.

btw gave up on the hockey arena when I see how long you have play before you can even start to train your players properly....

But if we pay salaries on a Monday if the players have a played a game the week before. So therefore 5th spot will pay on the Monday after the regular season. That means if you do get 4th you pay that Monday salaries, get 1/3 of the winnings and then have to pay the following Monday salaries as well because you played a game in that week.

Unless i am getting the economic cycles wrong??

Yes that sounds correct to me. So back to where we were, finishing 5th is ideal if you are likely to bow out 1st round of finals. That is ridiculous!

So possibly you have either 2/3 teams believing they are a genuine chance of making the final series. Then you could also have teams between 3-7 all battling for that golden spot at 5th. It's just not right...

in that case wouldnt 6th spot be the "golden" spot since you get 2 home game income + 1/3 income from that away game.

anyways 5th is boring as s*** lol

That is definitely an argument to make. However, I would not chance it with my team. If you are in danger of being 6th, there's a good chance you're in danger of losing the relegation series.

its a good point, you definitely get more money from 6th but the risk to way to high.

You really want everyone trying to battle for the playoffs because there is an incentive to be there.

Wait a second, you're telling me that teams get paid to play relegation games?! I think you might want to double check that.
