All-Star Break Approaching
With the All-Star Break around the corner, the Panthers are in very good position in the playoffs. Unlike last season, it seems as if the Panthers will easily make the playoffs. This season the Panthers are hoping that the "Twin Towers" will make the all-star team.
One fan had this to say:
"I hope that at least one player can make the all-star game. All-stars are rare on the team."
We will see how the "Twin Towers" perform today against Ginger Express. The game will be at the Panthers Grip starting at 8 pm. Be There and Experience Glory. Go Panthers!

Hall Of Fame
After a long break the Panther Press is back! This season has not gone very well. The good news is the Panthers are training very good talent in Andy Wilder. Many people close to the Panthers say the staff is saving up money for a late season run. Though people may be disappointed in this season, expect next season the Panthers will be competing for the title of IV.56 and hopefully winning it!
In other news the team has reunited with old player Paul Koenig. Koenig is now 34 and plans to end his career with the team that he started it with. The Panthers have announced Koenig as the team's first Hall Of Famer. Over his career with the Panthers he has acquired 2,044 points, 974 rebounds, 241 assists, and 195 steals. He averages 13.5 ppg, 6.4 rpg, 1.6 apg, and 1.3 spg. Koenig hopes to be the first player in Panther history to have 2,000 points and 1,000 rebounds.
You can watch Koenig and the rest of America's Team this Saturday as they face off against TitaniumTigerz at 8 pm. Go Panthers!

Panthers Make Changes
Recently the Panthers bought two new guards. The new starting point guard will be Fedor Botterweg. He is known for excellent defense, passing, handling, and driving. The new starting shooting guard will be American Robbie Bowman. He is also known for excellent defense, handling, and driving. These players signed a long contract looking to help the Panthers get to the top. The details have not be released expect for it is a long contract. Many people suspect they will be staying with the Panthers while Andy Wilder and Brian McClellan train. Both Andy and Brian are coming along nicely according to team trainers. Expect the Panthers to be a constant playoff threat in the years to come, no matter what division they are in.
In other news, the Panthers won their second cup game of the season. Joakim Paulsson recorded a triple-double. In his first start, Robbie Bowman recorded 37 points, 15 assists, and only 1 turnover. The Panthers will be playing another "easy" team in the cup on Thursday.
The Panthers will be playing Angerfist on Saturday at The Panthers Grip at 8 pm. The Panthers will be looking to get their first win of the season in league play. Be there to witness it. Go Panthers!

What can you tell us about Angerfist? Does the manager have weaknesses? Are they likely to overlook you in league play in anticipation of a grueling cup match of their own?

Panthers Win
The Panthers finally recorded their first win of the season with a victory over Angerfist 100-64. Robbie Bowman was the player of the game with his 27 points and 6 assists. He did extremely well for his first game and appears to have secured a starting job at shooting guard. Otis McCracken stepped up to get 10 points and 8 rebounds. The Panthers also did a great job against Nelson Abrams and Alexander Bowens. They stopped both of them to have season low ratings. Alexander Bowens did not get a double-double for the first time this season.
The next game is against Abracadabra Academy. This will be the first of three straight road games. Expect the Panthers to try and keep their winning ways and build momentum. Go Panthers!

Big News
There has recently been some big news for the Panthers. Paul Koenig was the first player to reach 2,000 points and 1,000 rebounds with the team. He achieved this in the recent cup game. Paul looks to continue to add on to his record as the season progresses. He will be honored at the Panthers next home game at half time.
The Panthers are currently riding a 3-game winning streak. Robbie Bowman has stepped up extremely well during this stretch. He averages about 27 points per game. Other players also chip on night to night to help Robbie. The Panthers will be finishing their road trip against Johnston County Bootleggers on Tuesday night at 8 pm.
The Panthers just add more bleachers! The Panthers Grip has seating for over 10,000 people. Come out and support the Panthers! Go Panthers!

All-Star Break
With the All-Star Break nearing, the Panthers are barely out of the playoffs. They are led by Robbie Bowman, one of the elite scorers in the league. Up and coming centers Andy Wilder and Brian McClellan have been improving rapidly. Many Fans think next year will be the year that the Panthers make the trip back to division three. Many things have been accomplished, on a team level, so far this season. Paul Koenig became the first player in Panther history to have 2,000 points and 1,000 rebounds. The Panthers Grip now has over 12,000 seats for all you loud screaming fans. They have had a very successful training season so far. Accomplishments for America's Team does not end there. They won their game in the Canada, USA WAR. The USA also won the WAR.
We would also like to let all of our caring subscribers know about two young and developing teams. They both have their own national presses. They are Otherland coached by Troy Valmont and San Diego Pitbulls coached by John Wilson. You can view their newspapers here:

Playoffs
All fans, players, coaches, and everyone involved with the Panthers are very excited that the Panthers would be in the playoffs if the season ended today. They beat Aritros Team 96-74. The Panther attack was lead by point guards Fedor Botterweg and Luis Cruilles. Fedor scored 27 points and dished out 5 assists in 36 minutes. Luis scored 15 points in 12 minutes. Brian McClellan also contributed big time, with 4 blocks. The Panthers showed signs of a good team. 66% of their made shots were assisted, they only turned the ball over 7 times, and the whole team was involved.
On the other hand, Panther star Robbie Bowman has a disappointing day shooting 2-11 and only getting 9 points. This is what he had to say about his game:
"We won the game and that is all that matters. I am not happy about my performance, but at least we won." He would not take any questions.
The next game is against the number one team in the whole league, Ginger Express. Come out to the Panthers Grip on Tuesday at 8 pm to watch the Panthers battle Ginger Express. Go Panthers!
