Hi,

I would like to present my point of view:
I strongly disagree with using new game engine (GE) since tomorrow.

Some of the reasons are:
1) GE is not tested by users! Previous version of GE you tried to start early this season was stopped because of problems regardless of the fact that users tested it. Now you try to release new version without users have it avalable, it's big risk.
2) Because of no possibility to play around with new GE by users, it will be a lotery to which team new GE will help. These is not to possitive condition for users and it's not motivating.
3) Each part of season is played under other part of GE - this dosn't reflect quality of teams.
etc. ...

1) sooner or later GE will be tested by users
2) in news there is said what has been changed. you want to a PRO already in new GE?
3) why not? why good players suddenly should be bad? cup games does big deal where teams are in standings too.

Any changes will have to go through a transition period. Unfortunately, some might not be happy at the beginning of the changes. But it's probably better for the long haul. So, let's test the new GE and be patient.

What I'm wondering about all the time is, can't the new engine be simulated for all or a big number of games without actually influencing all of us?

This would show the programmers if the results are realistic and if they make sense.
If they do, great, let's implement it.
If they don't, let's keep on tuning it before we have all league games played with it??

I suppose that this engine is being tested in a large number of simulations but I still don't see why the results in the league games (starting Saturday) should be so unrealistic...

We have both said a lot of things that you are going to regret.

If the game engine is a good one, it doesn't matter if it's slightly different, etc.

If you have good players, you will do well.

If you don't, you wont do well.

If it had bugs, it wouldn't be released.

The GE released for the first games of the season wasn't bugged, it just didn't behave the way the BBs felt it should.

I used 3-2 Zone in today PL and it is really disappointing. Long shots of SG/SF defended by PF/C, inside shots just under the basket of C defended by PG ...
I think of viewing whole match and making complete statistic of shots and defenders, but I'm not sure if I'm patient enough to study this mess.
Please, let us play competition matches in old GE and we can together test (and later improve) behaviour of new GE in PL and SC so that new GE can be released for competition matches at the start of next season.

I agree, we should start with PL a SC games! Not competition matches now.

Same point of vue for me.

Why don't just release this GE for PL and SC games until the end of the season and put it in official games for season 10.
