I can see how it might sound that way, and that is not what we are trying to imply at all. (At least I am not)

I recognize that it definitely takes skill to day trade succesfully. I applaud the skill. I certainly wouldn't imply that it was someones only talent, just that it is the talent that renders unimportant any other talent.

The problem I have is that it is a dominant strategy economically. If one person day trades and the other tries to do it any other way the outcome is predictable.

Daytraders still need good tactics, but have a huge advantage financially, which diminishes the importance of the roster building facet of the game. A non day trader could be very skilled at every other part of the game yet have no chance against a day trader if that trader has bought a sufficiently superior team. I consider this to be a bit of a problem.

are you planning to donate your trading profits to be divided equally amongst those that sadly cannot spend the time required to replicate your success?

if you feel like a cheater it is because you know that you are getting over the market rate for the players you list.... have any of your transfers ever been adjusted?

and you cant adjust it coz no one knows the perfect price for that many skill-combinations... anyway i thought its a managing game and a good manager knows how to make profit...

and no, you get no money, you have to put a gun to my head to get it ;)

and plz no posts to me no more coz im off-topic ^^

ha only messing with ya.... when i started there were lots of digs at me and my approach to the game... it was amazing back in the day...

the taxes have scared off a fair few people and in a way i think have created even more of a hole for the few left to exploit

anyway still fun when someone takes a player off your hands at a nice profit - i restrict my trading to players that will get some minutes - perhaps a boost in GS and also an outside chance of a pop (step trade)

you will never get the gun approach from me!

sorry for interrupting you at work ;-)

Hello CitB,

it#s interesting that the tactic in my last games (realy "standard", but i'm very successful with that) is the only point you are reacting at.......

By the way, no one here said that day traders are not able to manage a team successfully due to a good tactics. But, as many other users here already told, they give themselve a huge advantage over other players on the TL by buying good players.

I mean that the goal of it all, buy very good players to beat your opponents ! Or is there another reason ? I don't think so....

Greetings
Essener

BuzzerBeater definitely needs a more realistic roster limit rule. The NBA limit is currently 15. The NCAA does not directly limit roster sizes, but it does limit scholarships to 12, with teams allowed 'walk-ons', non-scholarship players who are not good enough to earn a scholarship to any similar school, but want to say they played on the team.

A roster limit of 15-18 would be a major improvement to the game as it would severely limit opportunities for day trading by means a simple, logical and realistic change to the rules.

1,2,3 are my favourite solutions (i think be right earn 25-30% for first 3 days, 50% in the first week, and after a linear increase. We can also give a weak limitation of total transactions, something like 30-40 in a season)

after some miles 5

after many light years 4,6,7

I think it should be forbidden to sell a player within 5 weeks after a trade. That would force to take care of the players and not consider them just as an instant cash machine...
