Give one team to that economist and let him manage it...in two weeks we will face economical "adjustments"...

only guessing the differences in revenue between div1 and div5 teams i can sympathise and agree.....
i think that because the transfer market is only throwing up the occasional good player at the moment everyone thinks they have the right and finances to bid for this player. the difference in a few seasons will be more obvious and i believe it will be less likely that div4 teams will out muscle the div1 teams.
having only just upgraded my arena i did a lot of research on other teams studying winning and losing streaks and the effect on the crowd...
my suggestion to balance the economy is to set 5000 seats as the benchmark for Div5 teams and then force the div 1 teams to increase their arenas immediately this way the money that you spend in the early weeks is more even as the lower teams have more to compete in the transfer market whilst the higher teams know by not investing in arena they will fall behind their peers in terms of weekly revenue.... then after a couple of seasons the buying power will switch back to the higher teams but the lower teams will have more of an infrastructure to build from....
when i say benchmark i mean that 5000 fans turn up on day 1 then subject to wins/losses it changes from there and for div1 teams they are effectively turning away fans as they might have a benchmark of lets say 8000 fans
