I knew his salary would be very high...you couldn't have afford an exceptional trainer whose salary is pretty cheap after only a few weeks of playing. Like others have suggested (or rather insisted), change your trainer AFTER Friday's training update (if you're giving your future superstar training minutes, that is).
This mistake would have costed you about 100k, but don't get disappointed. Everybody makes silly mistakes at the beginning. I made many mistakes and so did these managers who are giving you advice. Do you have a mentor? I hear that Australia has a mentoring system?

Hey Guys

he played in a scrimmage tonight and it says he only played 47 minutes

does this mean that a training improvement will not happen now as ppl have mentioned you need 48 minutes?

does 1 minute make a difference?

oh by the way, he had a triple double :)

As long as he played in that training position, he will get trained. But since it's not a full training where you get 48+, the training won't be 100% efficient. I'm not particularly sure about the difference between 47 minutes and 48+ minutes. But some say that it's as big as 20% or something if I remember correctly.
Btw I like his stats :)

no point of making him a center when he already has good JS JR HA and PA. just worry about ID IS and RB for now and when they are all at 12+ then maybe get OD up to 5. good luck.

Nice player.

He's a center, not a PF. Train him as such. He has good JS, JR, and PAS, good height, and great potential. The OD is not a huge deal.

Work mostly on IS/ID/REB. I might even do some SB training, as that's pretty low right now.

Now finally everyone agrees with me, a level 4 trainer for a division IV team unless you get incredibly lucky. What you should be aiming for is one with a weekly salary of around $10,000 a week, you should find one like that for less than $20,000. If you can find one with stamina expertise that is almost as good as a level 5.

Weekly salary: $ 6 126
Age: 18
Height: 6'10" / 208 cm
Potential: hall of famer

Now there has been wide debate about the difference between 47, 48 and 48+ minutes however the general opinion is it is not proportional and if you miss 1 minute it could cost you 10% of your training or even 25%. I have no idea about the actual figures but I would suggest ensuring 100% that he gets 48+ every single week. Hopefully you can do that in one game. Do you know how to do that?

If it was me I would keep this guy as he can be the cornerstone of your franchise forever, however you would earn a lot if you sold him, he would be worth at least $1,000,000 and probably more like $2,000,000-$5,000,000. This is the sort of insane money division IV teams can only dream of. But be careful not to waste it if you do get that windfall.

You have maybe the best 18 year old in all of Australia. Be very careful what you do with him, if trained very well he is a certainty to make the U21 and national teams.
