orlando got to the finals using basic outside iso for turkoglu, and pick and roll with Turkoglu and Howard. Its all been downhill from then.

I'd also point that as the offense is so focused on Howard, would be like look inside, and he puts the ball outside when well defended... But probably iso would be teh best way to describe.

A couple of examples of real princeton offence.

Also, as you can see, princeton has a ton of cutters, so a succesful team will get a lot of layups, so it takes inside shots, but it is not an inside offence.

It also is not a inside/outside offence, which takes the ball inside and kicks it out when the defence collapses. It is a pass and cut, movement offence, for teams without a strong low post presence, where the posibilities are only limited by the imagination of the coach and the execution of the team.

wow that is allot of movement for what is saposed to be a slow paced offence... that would tire out a player just as fast as run n gun. execpt the c that is.. i see him standing in one area setting allot of screens. everyone els looks like there bobbin and weaven all over until the defender looses his man. good idea. from that vid it does look a lil like some of the motion plays if seen.

Nice link flamen, fun to see it in actual action, and yeah it kind of reminds abit of motion as I remember it from playing ball...
As a PF who could do good distance shots it seems like an offense I'd love to play.

What do you guys think is the main factor for his loss? Since they're pretty close at rebs,ast, to etc.
I'm thinking worse SF atleast. Since it's suposedly a slower paced offense it suprises me abit how poorly some of his players shot...

an nba offence that played princeton as its offensive strategy without ever runing were the sacramento kings of 2003-2004.
their big men were excelent shooters and passers and often inside presences that did not run the floor and played patient(vlade Divac, chris Webber, Brad miller) wich also relied on their outside shooting from peja stojakovic and mike bibby.
they led the league in 3pt percentage, led in assists and finished second in points per game

I think his offensive flow and shooting in general should be higher. If you are facing a good defense, your players have difficulty at finding an open player without enough Passing and Handling. When that's the case, the player who shoots will either always have his shot contested, or someone will shoot the ball in last 5 seconds of the attack because no open man was found; in both cases %FG will be very low.

I don't think his SF lost him the game, but rather his PG. I think Princeton demands a great PG with not only PA and HA skills, but also shooting ones. It's clear his PG can pass, but shooting is his weak point. It's also true he's been pitted against superior PG.
