It might be easier for micronation teams, but where's the fun of the game.. You start in div-II, and the next year you're already in the div-I.. Then you play for a few seasons and you are on of the best of your country. Then what?

im from a micro nation (trinidad) that doesnt even have a league, which is odd considering it is larger by severL times what a country like barbadosis . anyway like many micro nation persons i would be happy in a trinidad leqgue to represent my country.

my suggestion is similar to an earlier one anout combined cups. i think the idea should be extended to league. for instance have a caribbean league and group the caribbean islandseg bahamas , jamaica barbDos ect wwhi h would raise the standard of play and would allow more countries to join eg trtinidad or other small islands in the region under their own flag even if the user count is very low as other countries from the region would b in the league already

why isnt this done?

one team for all the regions made up of micro natio s
for instance the west indies cricket team has been a collwction of smaller countries that competes iternationally under a united flag

this might also allow tose teama to be competitive on a international level

if the user base from on country in th regional bloc reaches a threshold then it can go independent

Too lazy to read everything, so if somebody already promoted this idea, sorry for making it twice!

But if for small and tiny countries you make a different build up not much has to change.

My idea is as follow:
the highest national divison for a small country is division II. That way you can add 4 countries in one competition pyramid. The top 16 from those 4 countries plays in the division 1.
Promotion and relegation from division 2 to 1 and vica versa is a little difficult in some occasions but that should be solved without too much trouble. For the draft only in division 1 you have to do something with the nationalities. In the other divisions the nationality is clear.

You could say that if division 4 is full a country gets his own independent league. Which means the critical mass is (2)1,(3)4,(4)16 = 21 * 16 teams + (+/- 4) top teams in the highest league = 340 teams as starting point for a countries own league pyriamid.

I hope the idea is clear.

I understand what you saying. For instance, there's a Latvian ice hockey team that plays in Russian hockey league(not because Latvia doesn't have a league of its own, rather because it's so weak). This kind of method could be used with some countries that does not yet have its own league. I mean maybe your team could be moved to some nearby country's league? I don't know, just a suggest :P

Are We here to see "japanese" discussion or a debate about micronation ?

I think that merging micro-nation would be good, but even before discussing how to, the question is do you want to ?

Knecht said no. What about our asian speakers ?

I coach the NT of Bolivia. There is absolutely no communication between the managers. Winning is not easy, but not really difficult too as just a handful of them have a small knowledge of the game. But they still can pay 600.000$ a week without problem.

As the voice of Asia I shall speak.
(sorry for those that have been brainwashed into thinking its trophyless Wolph or YC)....

I think I was lobbying for equal size leagues from season 4 (maybe earlier).

Whether that means Asian minus China or however it works out - its irrelevant.

The most successful Federation (started by me) contains decent managers (minus a few that slipped in) that by and large wanted to play quality competitive games. For some the Friday PL games were the highlight of the week to pit their wits against managers & teams of equal caliber.

Look how parts of this thread have talked about their PL matches..... this is because we (micronations) don't enjoy the consistency in quality in our opponents & seek to challenge ourselves on a global scale OR for up-coming teams they spend too much of their early career playing blow-out matches when they should be playing against other managers in similar financial situation to them.

Reset the entire game or add whichever leagues make numerical sense to ensure that TV revenue is closer throughout the world. Drafts would be easy - whoever you draft is the nationality of your team.

Want to try doing that in Japan or some of the other countries dominated by 1 or 2 teams.

You have more chance of trophies where you are in Finland (Div 4 + Div 3 = 2 trophies) Japan you might get a Div 2 trophy then a very quiet spell......
