"Hey, I'm Perpete and I'm coach of Tudduland National Team. I called your player because he is the strongest we have. Now, if you try to sell him I will be forced to punish you by TPA/ BAN."

No matter if GM can o cannot. Many newbies can be scared and obey: better not to risk.

That's the limit case, also nt coach non GM can threaten newbies, taking advantage of their inexperience.

Well, the GS hit doesn't change a thing. They could threaten before, they could threaten after. As efficient the threatens can be, I don't see how this can change from before.

As for a GM threatening someone to punish him. He can try. This would be a bad idea. There is spam report for anything and one spam report of this kind against a GM and he will stop being a GM immediatly.

So please, no need to say that GMs are evil dark lord.

No, now they could threaten more than before. Threatening TPA can be only if a player is sold. And a sold player reduces his own game shape.

And in my hypotesis they will use it only to unexperienced users, which ignore about spam report and so on, and even if they know that they prefer not to risk. Anyway it was just a bracket example. No reason to continue on this topic.

Yeah, the more I think about it the more I agree that a slight enthusiasm hit would be a better option as well.

Yea but I don't like it.

If a player come to a team, he can disrupt the team spirit so your team ent drop.. It's for me the better option.

Especially for teams that promote and thus have come into some new money
and are of course building up to the already well stocked teams at the next level
it seems that the game shape hit should not take effect until later, lets say week 5.
If a new team is still building in the 3rd week, why punish an already understaffed group by handing them another hit with a drop in game shape?

That's far worse - if a team is in the playoffs and is confident of promotion or otherwise sees a player that is a good long-term fit for them, they have to decide to not buy a player because it would disrupt their postseason performances, when in this proposal the player's gameshape hit would be irrelevant as he's not eligible for the playoffs anyhow. It's completely backwards to try to prevent the addition of temporary rental players by making *existing* players on the roster perform worse, which is precisely the effect an enthusiasm drop would cause.

The simple truth is that in the big picture, you're either keeping the player long enough that a short-term GS hit (which we don't even know the parameters of yet) is going to be irrelevant, or you're simply trading players too frequently and should feel some negative consequences.
