Great game 7. Miami made jumpers and the Spurs made a few too many mistakes/turnovers in the 4th.

Classy game and series between two teams that respected each other. Zero technicals all series.

If you remember me, then I don't care if everyone else forgets.

I've never seen such harmony from an opposing coach like popovich......... What a G!!!

ps: I was pulling for the heat, but it really kills me to see TD losing, what a class act, best PF ever!!

Never would have bet on him missing 2 inside shots in a row there at the end. I was hoping for OT!

lets see what west team will be up for the heat challenge next year. I got my money on the Thunder. If not them I'll look for Clippers/Grizzlies

Thunder is possible if there is growth from westbrook, lamb, perry jones III or their top draft pick.

clippers all depends if they retain chris paul and if doc rivers can get blake griffin to improve his defense enough. and fix the stagnant offense.

grizzlies no way, no top draft pick, randolph getting older, allen is a free agent, no real young talent unless tony wotten jr can get out of the d league

lets see the tier below those 3 west teams (in a very stacked west)

Lets see the playoff teams this year-

Spurs--they gone. they had their run and they had their chance. Game over for them. I think next ssn will be Duncan's last season. I also think Parker will give it another go and retire. Ginobili no comment. Unless Leonard can turn to the big guy on the team and Danny Green can improve his defense--i don't see em going anywhere and tbh i see them going down to 5th in west.

Nugets--they have some coaching issues, but if Hollins goes there i could see this team going. If they can develop more chem and get some Defense going I could see this team trying (of course i don't ever think they'll catch up to thunder status but can try)

Warriors--dark horse here. Need another big guy though. If Klay Thompson can improve they have a grim i repeat grim chance

Lakers--hell no. nuff said

Rockets--tbh no, just no.

Green can improve his defense? This tends me to believe that you only looked at the box score. Danny Green stopped at least 5-7 transition shots from the Heat because his hustle was fantastic and his D was stout. He did a lot more this series than make 3's. Other than that, you're pretty spot on.

But the Thunder will not, I repeat WILL NOT win the west. They shot themselves in the foot when they traded Harden. That goes down to me as one of the stupidest trades of all time by a franchise. They should have kept him for one more season. Westbrook is too inconsistent and it is obvious after this season that Ibaka cannot be a 3rd option on offense. TBH though, idk who will win the west. It is a crapshoot at this point.

Yeah that Ray allan 3 so scripted!

Spurs should have won Game 6. Heat will smash em Game 7 for the back to back!

I wonder if this is a Die Hard Heat Fan, a Bandwagon, or a Spurs Hater

Calling that the stupidest trade of all time might be the biggest overstatement of all time.

How quickly we forget that the Thunder were the best team in the West for most of the season without Harden. So they have clearly learned to live life without him, and almost certainly would have challenged, if not beaten the Spurs for the shot at the title had Westbrook not gotten injured. Kevin Martin is clearly the third option on this team. Ibaka was the fifth leading scorer on that squad, and I dont think anyone expects anything more than rebounding and excellent defense from him.

If the West is a crapshoot, I should play more craps.

I wouldn't count the Spurs out next year at all. They are clearly going to be haunted by game 6 for a long time.

Parker is almost unstoppable off the dribble in the lane. Duncan still has it with rest during the year. Green is improved. Leonard is going to be even better. Gino, I agree he is near done.

Remember they swept Memphis. It wasn't even close. I don't see the Spurs dropping way off from that in 1 year.

If you remember me, then I don't care if everyone else forgets.

Tough you're joking right?

Spurs: Tony Parker is only 31 years old, why the hell would he retire?

Also Ginobili's 14 million dollar contract falls off the books this season, so next year the Spurs have a lot of money to play with/reload with. I mean, I can see them signing guys like Tony Allen and Mo Williams with that money and having one more go at it.

Nuggets: Will be an unmitigated disaster next season. What George Karl did with that team was nothing short of a miracle. And he did it with one of the worst FT shooting teams in the league. If Iguodala hadn't been declining for the past 5 years and Javale Mcgee could make more than half his shots this team comes out of the west. Karl designed that system to fit those players as well as it possibly could.

Warriors: This team is one ankle roll away from falling off the rails at all times.

Lakers: Well yeah pretty much.

Rockets: I can see this team making the playoffs again, but that's about it.

Memphis: If their owners weren't so darn cheap I would say they would sign someone and really making a go for it.

Clippers: Were always pretenders in the first place.
