Yup, I blame several things. 1) you left 2) Next season I'll probably be the elder statesman in the NBBA. Which is just weird and wrong. 3) Airballers is no longer around to beg us to buy USA NTers.

In order to get the count up I will jump into the fray and say the I am not a fan of GDP.....guys if the game engine is broken don't fix it with a GDP bandaid....fix the game engine....

My feeling exactly! From the limited games I've tried GDP this season, I'm getting a bad feeling that the bonus/penalty is bigger than what I was hoping it to be.

Early results make me think GDP is little too severe. I don't think it's a small boost to defense, but a rather large one. I like the concept, to make things more variable and encourage people away from 1 set offense. It just seems like the impact is a little too high.

#2 above really does seem weird now that you point it out. That means no one will have been here since before season 20, with many (half?) only here a couple seasons... Interesting.

Off topic, but just curious if anyone knows... if the 2nd team idea happens, how many new teams coming here will it take to open up d6 to humans? Is it even possible?

I don't think it is....Supporters represent less than 5% of the user base....and since only supporters can get new teams I think the impact as far as new USA teams will be minimal. Also, the USA players are one of the top 3 countries in the game in terms of supporter memberships....so that means a significant chunk of the Supporters who can get a 2nd team wouldn't be able to get a team in the USA anyway.

I think it's more likely that you see the small countries double and quadruple their amount of active teams.

Given the current proposal, they can't more than double, as it includes a restriction that all countries be at least 50% native.
