Dislike this penalty!
It favors clubs with a high weekly income. I for one have the smallest gym in the league and indeed one of the lowest incomes. I am under a red line that doesnt exist for a team with more income. Unfair!
Why isnt it let my business to work with a certain weekly negative as long as i´m not in debt?

And, Gentlemen, maybe i am one of the "dumb managers" who arent skilling up their players and are buying cheap players and i´m getting along with that. why am i now punsihed for following my way of managing?

Hmm... maybe because you're wrong?

1) Get a bigger gym
2) Week after week after week of losing money = bankrupt in the end

It's like saying the world is unfair because I earn $50,000 a year but spend $60,000 on jewelry and wonder why the bank, the credit card company, and the collection agency aren't happy with me.

If you remember me, then I don't care if everyone else forgets.

What´s wrong about a running system? I am working that way for years and years and i am in 2nd division. Not bankrupt not anything. But right now i am punished for not acting the way you suggested (bigger gym,...)

OK, agreed, right/wrong incorrect.

Not financially sound.

If you remember me, then I don't care if everyone else forgets.

One of the largest complaints about the game is how many people feel the idea of tanking, building up a large cash reserve, and then running excessive salaries is too strong a strategy. That training is commonly thought of as a waste of time or money. That it's too easy to run with a low salary and squeak into a relegation series and then load up on high salary players to maintain a spot in the series. This change helps address that directly - you can still freely choose to have salaries that are not in line with your team's earnings, but it'll cost more now to do so and hopefully adjust the tendencies so people will actually focus on building a basketball team rather than a balance sheet.
