Good grief. You don’t really think “market research” has shown jersey design to be a user retention issue, do you? I wish BB had a facepalm emoji.

This game struggles to retain users, because the learning curve is steep, the game doesn’t comport with reality when it comes to basketball, the site is obnoxiously outdated, and growing a quality team is really slow-paced. These are all issues the current user base has mentioned as nauseum. These are all issues that are fixable. Retaining long-term users and attracting new ones is not a mutually exclusive endeavor. What keeps us will also attract new users.

Ha! My apologies for misrepresenting your statement. I’m a little slow at times.

As I don't work for BB. I don't know what they consider to be their "user retention issues" from market research.

However, you can find many real life examples of professional sports teams trying to improve ticket sales and merchandising by doing jersey changes.

Or, guess real life strategies don't work for a fictional sport to accomplish the same real life task?

As to
what keeps us will attract new users
: blanket statement that is over-generalizing, and not entirely true.
Many new users, don't have issues right off the bat, with things that become problems for users that stay on and play continuously.

Did every single person figure out within 2 league games, that the outside shooting is busted and LI is heavily favored?
Does everyone figure out within the first 7 days how ridiculously hard it is to find an AFFORDABLE trainer?
Do new users even know what an "affordable" trainer is?
etc
etc
etc

While I agree whole-heartedly that the developers need to not Shun the current user base and longtime users in an effort to only pander to trying to retain new users. Retaining new users is also something that they can't ignore.
The developers need to find a way to do BOTH at the same time. And not just flip flop between which group they try and cater to. Surely they're not suggesting that B is without any problem at all that longtime users and new users both get frustrated with?

I don't have supporter. Where do I see the jerseys that people with supporter have designed? I still see the tiny figures at their team overview pages.

Thanks
Are you able to see jerseys from other people?
If yes then my question to BBs, is it a feature that non-supporters can't view supporters' jersey design, or is it a bug?

Is it April fools? This is not a major update. This does not do anything positive for the game. Cool, we can design jerseys. That isn’t a big deal. There are bigger problems this game needs fixed and this isn’t going to do anything about raising the user base. The fact that this was labeled “major” is ridiculous. As a supporter I pay B.B. money because I love the game and don’t want it shut down. This just makes me feel like my supporter money is going to waste, though.
