Hi,
BB must be "copy" some features from Hattrick, where the system are solid and users moremoremoremore plus.

The autobid is very helpfull for an user that not have to much time (work, family, stress, life), may be who wrote before is a free student but it is impossibile to bid for 1 hour for a player!
In hattrick , when I have not time, I set te max for the bid and finish.

And i do not get up at 2A.M for a player. May be I prefer sleep sometimes.
Ty

I get the "I don't want to get up in the middle of the night". I'm leaning more and more into the "I don't want to stay up one hour later / wake up an hour earlier to bid".

However, how many times have you been in a one hour auction this last year ? Not even you, how many one hour auction bid have you seen in the last year ? The exageration about the length of bidwar is not needed. Anyone can check on their league page and see that 90% of the auctions end right there or at most after a very short bid war which can be speed up very easily by either the user or changing the automatic minimum %age of the next bid accepted by Buzzerbeater.

Thanks for answer.
I bid 2 times for 1 hour about.
But now we are here not for say "too much time for a bid", I just report another situation. I did a offer for a player (about 15 minutes before the end) and I must go to drive for about 30 minutes, I lost the bid at the next offert. Now , you can see that the autobid it would be nice in most of cases.

Do I get it right?

Let us make a short simulation.

Team Alonso is setting up a player for sale. For 100.000$.

Team Perpete (I take you for this example ) likes the player and makes an auto-bid until 1.000.001$

What everyone sees is that Team Perpete is the highest bidder with 100.000$

Now Team Nachtmahr wants to buy this player.

I bid 200.000$ (like currently) and see: Team Perpete at 200.000$
Hmm. Okay.
I bid 300.000$ and see: Team Perpete at 300.000$
Hmmmmm.
I bid 500.000$ and still see Team Perpete.
Now I getting really *** off an make a last bid of 1.000.000$

Team Perpete is still the highest bidder at 1.000.000$

Is this the idea behind the proposal? Woud it work like that?
I am a process and numbers guy, so I need a valid simulation on such a topic.

This would be the best change in BB.
People waiting 3min to try to out-sit other people -trying to bid up minimum value = disgusting

And to add to your example, what would happen if there are 2 players with auto-bid?

So you have teams Perpete and WhiteSnake both using auto-bid to up to 1.000.001$
What happens in that instance?

We would see one bid after another placed automatically until the price goes to $1.000.001?
What happens if there are more?

Sorry but this feature doesn't make much sense to me.

If you want to buy a player and you think his value is 1M, then you can just bid $1M. If you want to get him cheaper you should have to work for it, not use an auto-bot to steal the player at a lower price.

The first user to set is auto bid, will be current max offer.
I imagine if a user makes a 10.000 auto bid, and then a second user also makes a 10.000 auto bid, the max offer will be 10.000 from the first user

I voted NO because there's nothing more beautiful in life than having to wake up at 3 a.m. to bid for a player that you've been waiting for months. The sound of that alarm bell is the best thing in life.

And it is even more beautiful when you bet for the player, and with like 15" remaining you think you bought it, fall asleep, and the day after you realise that a Chinese player rebidded in the last second and got the player.

The sensation of being sleepy the day after because of a player you couldn't even buy is just delicious...

Alright I was going to hold off on commenting because most of my thoughts have already been said, but I want to get my opinion out there because I really think this is a bad idea. To clarify, this is what the “auto-bid” feature does:

-Allows experienced/rich users to bully new users out of purchasing players, driving them away from the game.

-Makes it virtually impossible to get a “steal” on the market. In other words, driving market prices up, which again alienates new users and smaller level teams.

-Allows multi accounts to potentially guarantee transfer of money while making it harder to determine who they are, since their winning bids will always be one bid higher than the previous.

-Decreases hands-on user activity.

-Decreases the human element of the game.

All this just because sometimes a player ends at a bad time for you? Come on. There’s obstacles to building your team, that’s part of the challenge of the Buzzerbeater that make the game great. Additionally, it sounds like there’s no answer for what happens if two (or more) teams set their auto-bid to the same amount. If the answer is just giving it to the first team, then what’s the point of having an auction at all. My vote would be to reopen the auction until someone actually bids on the player, but then that ruins the strategy of planning when to acquire/sell players. Overall I think this was a non-issue to begin with, and implementing it creates more problems than it solves.

I've been thinking about it for a long time, an automatic bidding system of a pre-established amount would be optimal. important: to set the maximum bid first before starting bidding.

yes for me, the reason is that some deadlines have incompatible time zones

I voted no. The auction process is inherently fun and integral to the game as it allows people to acquire players on bargain deals and be more active in the game. Removing that means less interaction with the app and also probably leads to a larger gap in the game as teams with more money can create max bids much greater than other teams can afford.

Auto bid is a great thing. At one football manager, a few years ago they introduced an agent (auto bid) and that's great because not everyone has time to bid for players/coaches for half an hour. This does not help the rich, but people who cannot be at the game every second. This option is the development of the buzzer going forward and I hope people will take this as a positive thing
