JD: I said they need to get a scorer. Somebody who can put the ball in the basket to the tune of 20 points a night. If this guy can't do that, I'm not going to shut up until that guy shows up. Now if this guy means there's somebody scoring 20 a night every night, that's an improvement, but I said I wanted a scorer who could consistently score 20 a night.

Sam Dunkley: I heard he's a heck of a defender, too.

JD: I don't care. I said what I said. Get me a scorer. A defender is nice and all, but what's the plan? You just gonna run defenders out until the other team gets intimidated. Get that scorer. That's all I care about.

Jimmy Buckitts: Shooters shoot, scorers score. The team needs a scorer. How the points come don't matter as long as they come. If this guy can score and defend, Pio Reina is going to have a different problem.
