Inside Shooting trains very fast, about 1,5-2 weeks for 18yo's.

My 18yo has popped in JR this week (strong to proficient) after 3 weeks of outside shooting training, level 9 trainer. Previously popped to strong after 3 weeks of Jump Shot training.

Another point I falied to mention was that I was training IS for ~3-4 weeks before switching to RB. Of the 3 players I've been training in RB that haven't popped in IS, two of them have an extra week of IS training since their last skill increase.

Next week (still training RB C/PF), I'm expecting pops in ID for nearly all of my of my trainees, and I also expect 2 of them to pop in IS. I only expect one pop in RB ;)

Trained RB again this week. 3 pops in RB (2 unexpected), no pops in IS or ID. This is week 7 of RB training.

i dont know what WFU03 (who started this very helpful thread) thinks about it. but I believe post like this does not help at all:
first week of handling for PG..
trainer level: 9
20 years-old 1.80 trainee: mediocre ---> average
22 years-old 1.83 trainee: average ---> respectable

We do not know what sublevels those players had. so training handling might take only 1 week, or if those players had a high sublevel before, it might take 10 weeks to get a pop,

Posts like this however are really helpful:
I've been training RB since 30 November (with one week off for stamina). Based on my results, the RB training is accurate for players over 20. It is much faster (about 1-2 weeks) for players 20 and younger.

I have been training the same 4 guys the entire time, and my results are as follows:

the longer u train the some players wiht one training type the more informations we can get out of it.

@moutlinho: no offense against u. Your post was just an example, in this thread are hundreds of other post i could have also used as an example

I've been training ID (C only) for 4 weeks now (trainer level 10):
a) 19y old 7'4" trainee popped every(!) week in ID (3 to 7)
b) 20y old 6'10" trainee popped 3 times in ID (6 to 9)
c) 21y old 6'10" trainee popped 2 times in ID (8 to 10)
Player c has very low SB, so this might slow down his training a little.
Every week two of them played 48 minutes, one of them came close to it (>40), the first week each had 48 minutes. I rotated the one with <48 minutes to train them equally.

Each of them had one pop in IS and SB, but no pops in Driving.

So you can definitively add:

Inside Defense
C:
Trains ID @ 1-2 weeks

for me i just trained my sg playing sf to inside shot

his 19 yrs old with a level 4 trainer, guess what just the 1st week his IS already pop!

funny, as much as im reading a lot here i cant seem to get a idea of how much time or weeks should be said, especially the secondary skills.

all i have experience so far, because ever since i was all training pg,sg and sf that if you train them in driving youll get results in jump shot and handling.

others as you said if you train IS, you get rebs and inside D? i have yet to see this on myself.

lastly training benefits players 25 and lower better so im thinking maybe just sell your old and get young ones hehehe.

i havent tried getting a trainer at level 6 and up but im tempted now. my level 4 guy is still level 4 for many weeks now

Well it appears they both train the same thing, just one has an option to do only SG's
