He put a SF at C, what, combined with Patient tactic, means that he got a lot of FGs, because he had a lot of JS. What is more, your C probably doesn't have a lot of OD, so he couldn't defend Allegri's tries from mid-range. It's also possible that Allegri has some IS, which helped him in close shots. In result, he scored 55% of FG and 56% of 3FG. It was enough to win this game, because the half of all points scored by his team were made by him.

Next time, if you suspect that he'll try to use this trick again, use C with better OD.

He played smart. Used his SF/SG on a C position, played Patient, and he made the game.
But anyway it's not an so fair result, but what can you do now, show must go on...

First quarters are sometimes really weird. And the five minute stretch relatively late in the fourth where you got one point and gave up 10 probably ended up costing you the game.
