You know why Big 8 got wrecked? Because two of my players started and a third played substantial minutes off the bench. My players who played in that game, individually, are trash lol. Look at their salaries/DMI compared to the big names of the league. They're only good on my team.

Weird game....My two starters also played less than their backups...I had 3 players in this game, combined for 71 minutes, and they only took 12 combined shots between the 3 of them.

The entire All-Star event in BB is pretty anti-climactic...we could go on and on with things they should do differently/better....but One that I think would add more fun and discussion would be instead of having the GE manage the game....let a coach from each conference set the tactics for their conference like the NT coaches manages the National Team.

For instance, like I mentioned in my previous post, my 3 guys combined for 12 shots....I am sure that is partly because the other guys on the court were better scoring options, but also, I don't have a single player on my team that benefits from Base Offense.

It would be cool to either have a vote leading up to All-Star week to assign coaches, or conferences 1st or 2nd place team could be the default coaches each season. I think it could make the game more fun and competitive if actual people were running the team. For instance, just like in real life, your "voted" starters must start, but there are tactical choices that could be made to ensure better players get more minutes off the bench. And of course, the fun debates that would ensue based on how the coach did or did not use other teams players effectively :-)

Instead, we are left with a boring All-Star game, that draws little to no attention, an extra rating (Coaching Rating) which is irrelevant...To me that's like when the NFL moved the Goal post to the back of the end zone instead of the front....well, if BB were in charge, they would have left the original goal post in the front as well as putting one in the back of the end zone...but the one in the front would no longer count. Just like on our Roster page...Our players are still assigned a Role...the original purpose of that was because they were beta testing another game they were going to unveil...that project died, but the "Role" is still there, serving no purpose, other than another process the Files have to update through, which slow down the game, and the updates.

Ohhh well, I will get off my soap box...its just times like these I can't help but relfect on what BB should be.

Hey I had three starters last year and we rolled to victory. I thought you were my replacement to carry us?

Really? I was never told this. Well I'm sorry to let you guys down but you shouldn't be looking forward to anything big from my team. My team name is "Tragic" for a reason. Don't expect too much. The fact that we are in the NBBA with my team of scrubs should raise some questions. Like Hassan Donnelly said in the other thread, I may or may not have made a deal with the devil.

What you think was the devil with experience you will come to understand is really a buzzerbeater illuminati making all the decisions as to what happens in this game. You may choose to believe in it or not but my advice to you? Always stay on Jason's good side. I've said too much...when we next speak I may have gone bot for this.

Hmmm..... You make a good point. Now that I think about it, I have been on Jason's good side. :?

I would devote more time to uncovering the truth behind this but I fear that would anger the buzzerbeater illuminati. I will take your word for it. It is better to not know, ignorance is bliss.

the Mashers putting up for sale Soto and Jack is kinda interesting, especially when combined with Jason's inability to dump, er, sell, his big guy.

if Soto goes only for $1.5 million, i will be astonished. i could see a bidding war with a price that is twice the asking price.

Jack is different -- i think that price is a good one, but is already top dollar. i could see one, two bids, but he is a good player.

my guesses are simply that, of course -- but i think the fact that an NBBA All-Star player with exceptional game ratings who is very young is rather amazing. but we are getting to that point in the season where teams buy players for the playoff push. we'll see . . .

I only listed him because one day I noticed he had a TPE that went up to $5.9 Mil, less than 2 days after listing him his TPE Dropped to $3 Mil, and by the time the Auction closed he didn't have a TPE and hasn't had one since.

I'm not desperate to sell him, however, if someone wants to give me a bunch for him, cool, if not, it's nice having a big that isn't losing ratings and value every Friday :-)
