I paid $1,623,800. Pretty pricy, but I really want to actually make a difference in training.

I was wondering if it'd be smart for me to train this player into an SF? Ive been training 5 big guys so far, but I can use some training with others if need be.

Weekly salary: $ 4 921

DMI: 11000
Age: 18
Height: 6'8" / 203 cm
Potential: star
Game Shape: average

Jump Shot: mediocre Jump Range: average
Outside Def.: atrocious Handling: mediocre
Driving: mediocre Passing: respectable
Inside Shot: respectable Inside Def.: respectable
Rebounding: respectable Shot Blocking: average
Stamina: pitiful Free Throw: inept

Experience: atrocious

I just dont know if his potential would help. His suggested position is power forward.

Actually I just noticed his outside defense is horrible.

I've got too many short PF's on my team. Two are at 6'8.

But maybe with an exceptional trainer....

Don't bother training him as an SF, it will take forever to do anything with the outside defence. What I would suggest, is because all the other skills are pretty good, I would train every skill except Stamina, Free throw and Outside defence, to strong. You could probably do that within 1 season, and I think it would give you a very solid player that you could then focus on inside skills with.

1.6 mill is very pricy for a trainer and to be frank quite unnecessary for a D5 team.

Your team would have improved a lot more spending that much money on better players

From a quick glance at your team, you don't have many decent trainees to take advantage of such a high level trainer. If you are aiming to train then you would want really young guys with at least allstar potential. Your team's young guys are max only star potential. so unless you spend more money on some really good trainees, it would be such a waste.

Yeah, I'm banking on getting something better this next draft. We'll see what happens

Goodluck, but I have to say I also think it was a waste of money. You are going to be waiting for the next draft? That is not for ages!

Buy some trainees now so that you start getting use of the trainer straight away.

He might not have much money after spending that much.

True, but next arena game he should get more money and then he should buy trainees then rather than wait for the whole season and waste his level 6 trainer.

Next draft is still a good 10-11 weeks away. Having such a high trainer for average trainees is such a waste. You're better off in buying this trainer when you've actually got the trainees rather than the other way around in buying a trainer first and hoping to find trainees.

Too bad he has already bought it lol.
Still plenty of time to get at least a half decent trainee. Salary of the trainer is low, so I recommend keeping him for a long time.

He already has half decent trainees just not good ones. His has some young guys which are 18/19 but only starter/star potential. Not ideal if you want them to be long term trainees as they will reach their cap a lot quicker.

yeah now that he has bought him, he is better off holding on to him and make the most out of it
