]You disgust me with your show of good faith and overall positive outlook.

whoa there i hope that was sarcasm >_< I vow as NT manager to take the best 2 out of every position instead of the best 10 Canadian players I am taking the top 2 of each position as then the team will have more balance and hopefully get rid of some weak spots we have

oh and im changing my vote from head paper pusher to GM-Beanerz

Is your suggestion that myself, RIP and others have created unbalanced teams in the past?

It is tough finding someone that meet all those criteria. He may not be the biggest bruiser out there but I think Pavel Datsyuk is the right guy for the job. Anyone have his phone number?

I was thinking more along the lines of Sidney Crosby or Joe Thorton. But if they are unavailable, just vote for me.

LOL at the Joe Thornton comment. He is -12 this year. Not exactly an all around player. The best guy in the league that matches this is probably someone like Mike Richards.

Doesn't Crosby have a concussion? I'm sure he has plenty of spare time to coach the NT

The NT debate this season is quite awesome. It's been great checking over here as I do scouting updates and other stuff, and I've really been enjoying reading everything.

I like that Beanerz is running this season, and I think he is qualified to take over as the NT manager. He has my support for the position right now. :)

Here's a question I have for everyone. What are your views on using U21/NT roster spots for saving players during the season? You may reference past results, base your answer on predictions about future teams, or draw a penguin out of smiley faces.

Before I answer the next question, I have a very serious topic to bring up. It is something that I believe has been overlooked by previous NT managers and I think it has led directly to our poor performances the last few seasons. In particular, GM-Rip was extremely bad at it.

Here is the question:

How will you choose the cheerleaders for the NT team?

I personally will be the first NT manager to hold tryouts across the country for 10 cheerleader spots. I will be doing it in the style of "Live To Dance", except there will also be a swimsuit competition. Beanerz, you are welcome to compete, but I have a feeling you will flunk the swimsuit portion.

Think about it. Our players will never be more motivated and they will always be in top game shape.

Oh man, it is on. After that statement I will be looking for some thug to take out Galvano's knees in the next week or so. Trust me, it will be BB's first 30 week injury.

I will basically do the same as the last time that I managed the U21. I will save lots of players but they will be completely the wrong ones and they will go on to have stellar careers as back-ups for division III teams.

HPP please be sure to adjust your scorecard. This appears to be the powerplay I was looking for ;)

Seriously now... Saving players is a huge part of the role and is something I will obviously put alot of consideration into. There are however many variables including timing, enthusiasm and obviously the teams success. As I have witnessed Mogul and other NT/U21 managers do in the past I can assure you that I would be willing to save multiple players if it is best for the team and for the Canadian community.

Well HPP we once again are going to agree to dsagree.

Cheerleaders are an awful idea. They would have our enthusiasm at all time highs as we all enjoy a pretty girl now and then. But with the genetically altered group of players that will make up this team, I suspect that there will be a lot of 'hook ups' causing our game shape to be awful or more like 'spent'. Seeing an old guy like Wendon grinning from ear to ear while eating a ham sandwich and having a smoke is clearly not going to be of any help.
