Transparent way is having clear rules. As it has been now (pre-this thread).
firing good players instead of selling them and earning some cash is simply a bad behaviour and it can turn the game into a firing war..here's how to prevent it..when you press the "fire" button, the player becomes listed at $ 1 000 and if he doesn't get any bids until the end of the auction, he automatically retires..we don't have to think about some "grey" rules in this case..

If he was on NT roster then this all is a bug and I'm sorry for misunderstanding.
