The schedule is up.

and i am not playing against you again, but i get the chanche to revenge me against Kharkov and beat your rival. Hostivar is also a highlight if he wouldn't rebuild.

Did we get a wildcard team this time?

Check the message above:
Btw, just found that 2 BBs are participating in the tournament this season. And I see Secret Agents received wild card this time.

Bah, that's unfortunate that I got the wild card. I'm not playing anymore, so it will be free blowout wins for all of my opponents.

A very nice game featuring 2-3 and showing it's effectiveness...which isn't good enough against LI. Busby boys' 2-3 defense produced 6 blocks and a lot of missed layups from Nitra's PG and SG, while keeping his team ahead in rebounds. 2-3 also didn't allow for more than 4 offensive rebounds from Nitra while having 14 rebounds itself. By that logic, Nitra's C and PF should have low %FG too, right?

Well, 2-3 certainly stops them more than M2M defense, but Nitra's PG and SG get a boost on passes, consequentially getting better looks to their C and PF, effectively negating 2-3 defense. Result? Even if Nitra's first PG and SG shot 5-25 combined, they also had 16 assists (combined) and the whole team shot a very solid 42-85. How many more proof do BBs need to see 2-3 zone doesn't work? Actually it works, when you have a roster like Chezch NT. But teams are not NT - they can't afford 2.5 mio of salaries.

i would say here, that 965 points against, are mainly ok. More the offensiv output of Ferguson was below average. Which might have to do something with the rosters, or all the LI is unstoppable threads are off since the common man to man defence kills the opponent inside offence easily.

that shows only that the belarus dude isnt the "best manager"..nitra have one of the most effectiv shooting forwards in BB..putting a 23 zone with weak outside bigs against is like guest list for nitras party :-)

it all depends on the player u have..23 zone has as many advantages and disatvantages like every other extreme defense tactic

!!!!

Second Team:
Jirkov
I expect him to train new young talent he bought last week and maybe as soon as they mature and are trained well he will buy other players to have strong team again. But I'm surprised that he as national coach of Iran is not focused on domestic youngsters. But probably it's because there are no iranian high potential 18 yo players at the moment.
According to height of youngsters I expect him to produce well rounded SF's. But we will see if MVP potential will be still enough on B3 level at their age of 25-27.
