I'm curious, what is the Whitten Oval?

It is the name of the old home ground of the "Western Bulldogs" Australian rules football team


Yep and was named after their greatest ever player being (Ted) Edward James Whitten, other wise known as Mr Footbal. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7x-b5pd2ywM

The oval was formerly known as the Western Oval but was renamed the Whitten Oval in 1995 after Ted passed away after a battle with cancer

Ted Whittens last public appearance, not before he died of prostate cancer and from memory I believe he was almost blind at the time (as in had lost his vision as oppossed to being drunk)

Thanks for sharing about the Whitten Oval! Everything is sponsored here in the U.S and that is what I went for.

I was a big Dragon Ball Z fan as a kid (now 25 and still like me some DBZ here and there) so I named it as if it got a corporate sponsor. Added a logo in my banner too cuz I've got the time. I teach so I'm now on summer break and BB has gotten much more of my attention the past month or so.

Arena Name = Capsule Corp City Center
