I have no PG in my team nor SG by skills, and im paying my 1/2 of salary for my PF.
And im 3. in my confederence and have same score as 2. team.
My PF is on list for Highest scorer and Highest rebounder and he pass same as my PG...
So i disagree whit your statement... I use mostly inside ofence's
I run outside ofence 2 seazon ago and went into league finals and lost series cous of bad rebounding, so it matters what offense you play cuse it makes some of positions more important then other...

I suggest you spend 50% on your PG mate. If we can't get you to understand what we're saying, you should learn by experience.

def..def..def..def... you can't win only by defending yourself, you must also score to win
This is where we hold them!

I know, I read the topic first then I leave my comment.
If by far your best player is a PG, you can make him shoot with patient, but, if you want a normal balanced team, you need good players on every position, you can't expect just one player to score and the other to defend.
Every position is important.
This is where we hold them!

Right...free advice: in this GE, the second player Manon posted is likely the superior of the 3, certainly at higher levels. The third will work better than the second only if you don't need the OD because your opponents are fairly bad.
If you feel 50% is not enough try increasing even further. Who knows, maybe you'll discover something nobody else did in 9 years!

yes you can win this way but only if you play patient.
i have experience in division I and winning a cup in what was once a 100team country.
if you play patient with your primary scorer, while surrounded by non shooters you can *maximize* your chances, provided the other team best defender is not the PG.
here is an example.
