Hi SpongeboNG, thanks for being active here! some fresh look from outside is always welcome.
Yet i'm not sure if the trash talk really happened on our side (at least i didn't see any at public), therefore there might be some lost in translation meanings. I would say that after achieving first spot we rather try tone down the emotions as there are still some games to play : )

I had fun reading Spain's u21 Debate thread last election, all that Alonso related drama was funny, i wanted to continue this wave.

I personally think this is a bit of trash talk:
"We already have that gold, is there anything else we need to play" (by LukeRev)
"we are the strongest in the field. xD" (by LA-Siwy)

Nothing disrespectful or serious, but I would classify this as trash talking, and I love it, it fires up the opposition and spices thing up in the forum (like now)

Anyway, I Had to answer to LukeRev, i was morally obliged 😂😂
since those are some big words coming out of a nation that hasn't won a WC (yet)

According to the table yes we are the strongest :) according to the roster... I would say we are 4th / 5th team in this WC.

How things will develop from now on will depend on mostly GS and luck. I hope that Bubble Wrap will not sink your best C/PF as he did that to our promising one.. and I really do hope that you are capable winning this semi ... as our game was weird in many stances ... so would like to have a rematch in final if I will get there somehow ...

Yeah i saw... he also bought our most recent call up so now he has a PG and a C of our u21 team meaning that someone is not getting ideal training regardless, it's also a shame for you to have "lost" Pustuła

Only trash talk I see comes from Italia ;)

well, lets not trust google translate that much when it comes to Polish language and context. none of the two translations were accurate ;) anyway i appreciate that you ignited some discussion related to thrash talk, and its a pity we probably wont face this season again.... :p ;)

Mamy medal slodko gorzkiego smaku niestety. Uwazam jednak, ze to jest duzy sukces naszego zespolu. Podjalem pewne ryzyko w tym meczu, ktore niestety rykoszetowalo w nasza strone.

Plan byl taki, ze jesli dojsc do finalu to zagrac tam z pelnym entuzjazmem przeciwko USA. I tutaj chyba najwieksza sensacja tego turnieju USA odpadlo z Wlochami... Nie pomoglo nawwet podkupienie przez USA najlepszego podkoszowego z Wloch i utopienie go.

Przed meczem mielismy wiekszy entuzjazm 2-3 poziomy, mielismy rowniez lepsze formy. Przypuszczac wiec moglem, ze jest szansa wygrac ten mecz na luzie.

Plan nasz zespol realizowal ladnie do konca 2 kwarty. W 3 wydarzylo sie cos czego sie nie da wyjasnic i o czym chlopaki pewnie szybko by chcieli zapomniec. Znaczenie pewnie mialo wyzsze nastawienie Izraelczykow. 4 q to juz dramatyczne gonienie wyniku w pewnym momencie wychodzimy na +2 zeby szybko zejsc na -6. Poniej doganiamy jeszcze Izrael ale tylko na tyle stac naszych rozluznionych chlopakow i ostatecznie przegrywamy roznica 7 oczek.

Dziekuje wszystkim, ktorzy pomogli w osiagnieciu tego niewatpliwego sukcesu. Roznie to nam szlo trapieni przez kontuzje brak formy, podkupowanie graczy przez USA.

Rocznik ten nie byl wybitnym (porownujac go do sezonu 50) ale i tak osiagnelismy cos niesamowitego.
