I agree this game is not perfect. Do you know a game that is? Sure I see problems, but they are not that important to me. Some problems have been solved and some have not. Just like life you can think in problems or you can think in opportunities. You set the tone for yourself and that's okay. Just don't make it other people's problem. Good luck!

I feel like the problem with fixed matches its not a game issue, its a human issue. In my cup, I played against an ACBB who fixed the leage match to play both with the subs. Thats very difficult to detect and to punish... Thats why I love so much BBM, and I think the developers don't get enougth crèdit for this.

FWIW the stuff you complain about (lopsided games, agreements among top teams to preserve minutes for the cup, etc.) has been happening since the very first seasons. Maybe it's bad, but it is not the explanation of the decline in users in the early-mid teens.

The main cause of the decline is that the training/game shape system is completely flawed. Please just check how Basket Pulse does this.

Personally I think you speak for the small minority of people who have an issue with how the national tournament is run. Yes it’s not perfect but one of the great idiosyncrasies of this game is how you start to manage minutes of your players once the tougher cup games come around.

If you’re suggesting a change that allows teams to play a full strength team in all national tournament games, then guess what.. all the best teams are going to end up there, creating an even bigger gap between the top and middle to bottom teams. The way it’s currently set allows teams to prioritise long cup runs as opposed to a title or playoff push, creating differing options for teams.

You also mentioned the Champions League - do you think Inter are one of the best two teams in Europe currently? No, course they’re not. But guess what, a cup format allows them to get there and have an opportunity at winning a major trophy. That’s the exact same with this.

Take the England national tournament, we’ve had two division II teams reach the final in the last five seasons. Yes they both lost, but at least they had a shot at winning a major trophy.

There’s so many people who complain about this game but don’t make sensible recommendations on how to improve it.. your post is one of them.

Okay, so let me hypothetically ask you a question then - where do all the other teams come from for the B3 tournament if you don’t allow the cup winners to compete in that competition? Yes if you win the FA cup, you get Europa League but we don’t have multiple formats of European tournaments apart from BBM and B3 so the latter is the obvious choice.

You are from England. Have you ever seen a club play completely with the reserve team in the Premier league to save the best players for the fa cup? Maybe 7 days before the final in the last league game of the season if they don't fight for anything in the league and that's it

No I haven’t but again, you’re not comparing it properly. West Ham did actually rest multiple players away to Brentford before the semi final of the Europa Conference League - no Rice, Paqueta, Bowen, Zouma etc. They did the same for the last league game before the final.

Why did they rest them? Because winning the major trophy was more important to them than league position, exactly like it is with some managers on this game.

Look at premier league teams over the Christmas schedule, they have to rotate players because of fitness and burning them out with too many minutes.

As I stated in my previous message, the cup format is not perfect and yes it’s annoying to waste enthusiasm on a Saturday to a team who has put out a team of scrubs, but it’s one of the features that makes this management game great.
