What I would prefer would be additional filters on the transfer list search function. I would like to see potential added to the list of skills for starters. Finally, I would like to be able to search on more skills. Four skills is not very many.


This has to be more helpful.

The reason people want help i would imagine is becaue they havent got time to sift thru the whole market.

This way they can get to the players they want and if the search is too specific they will have to do a little research to learn more about price.

As it stands you look at a player start off with a price range 1mil - 1.5mil then is he at the top of that band /bottom or middle? then what about height, stamina, maybe even GS then you have to value the secondaries yourself.

If someone cant work out how much the primaries are worth what chance have they got on evaluating secondaries?

I'm curious to know who is actually struggling to value their players.

I am. Or at least I was struggling. Maybe not anymore.

If I feel the given price range is too wide, I can try and go to search similar players in the market. If I want/need to get a better idea of the price.

It also tells quite clearly how the estimate has been made.

One thing that I've learned from this tool is that most of my players are better than every similar player sold "recently".

This only confirms the fact that I can't sell any of them, because there aren't good enough players to replace my studs with.

This is likely only an isolated problem with the top teams, however, and not related to the TL compare.

I like it though, and I think with a little tweaking it will be a very good tool.

A Transferprice tool is a good idea, but it takes away some "transfer market knowledge", that was interesting to get and now can pay off.. but with a system like this, everyone can just follow the guides and buy/sell. Maybe we don't want to take a hand that leads us the way?

I would prefer a more detailed transfer market search tool - which lets you input Potential, Wage range, average game rating range, height range etc.. but the most important feature would be potential and wage i guess.

as much as we wanted a specific set of guides of how much a player really worth,

it cant be said exactly, because if the market offered at that time to have someone with strong skills on important sets on that player and his the best on at that time probably so he will shoot up the approx or estimate given.

we also have to look at this, because if the market at a certain time is bad expect some players who are in need would shell out money more than a normal bid would go.

I like the new tool. Of course, it is not perfect, but we cannot evaluate this tool until the transfer market is not much more developed, in the sense of many more transfers per week and much more equilibrium in prices (so not big prices changes from week to week).
Both things are consequence of the fact that BB is a relatively young game.
Therefore, the price estimation tool works as well as possible for the current situation.

I prefer a large price range (so I understand that the price of my player is hard to evaluate), than a wrong price. The tool is providing all the necessary information we need to evalutate if the estimation is good or not: number of transfers and main skill taken into account. For me, it seems evident that other skills are also considered. Then we all have a brain to decide whether to take it or not.

We can start now a race to show as many examples as possible of how bad this tool is working. But I am pretty sure, if we considerer all the cases where the tool is working precisely, the race will be lost by far.

i think that this is quite a good tool. with so many variables in BB, it's hard to have a very detailed and accurate like many of u have complained about. so it's good for something that is new, with a little tweaking, this can be a detailed and accurate tool

Let me second this. I'm not sure about average game range, but every item that is public knowledge when a player is listed should be searchable through the transfer list.

This is an excellent example of why I like this feature.

Guys are trying to peddle that player for $650k when realistically he should go for around $150k. People are upset that they can't gouge each other, which speaks more to human nature than anything but if it can be curtailed then good.

Once I scored a basket that still makes me laugh.

I'm sure the admins will look at all this, and see how things develop, and make changes as necessary. I think this is a great idea, and another example of why it didn't take me too long on this site before becoming a supporter. Excellent anticipation of the needs of newer players.

Don't ask what sort of Chunks they are, you probably don't want to know. Blowing Chunks since Season 4!
