It's hard to know how the GE works in scrimmages when a lot of teams play unusual line-ups such as playing players out of position for training. I should have put it differently instead of saying "best" players.

But unusual setups are also very useful for understanding new GE, especially zone defenses.

Some fact of 1st quarter of my PL match. I played 3-2 Zone, opponent played Look Inside.
Opponent C had 3 inside shots - 1 with no defender, 1 defended by PG (ID 6) and 1 defended by SG (ID 6). Where was my C (ID 12) all the time?
If the zones defences works like that, Man to Man will be even much more useful than it was up to now!

N of3 is not convincing I think if you look overall the vast majority of inside shots will be defended by interior defenders. Plus there is never no defender just sometimes the commentary doesn't list it.

Sometimes there should be no defender. Breakaways, defensive mixups leading to wide open jumpers, great screens, faking a guy out of his jock and going to the hole... All possible instances of there being no defender. Just sayin...

Once I scored a basket that still makes me laugh.

Having run extensive testing I can assure you blocks are on average more frequent. Plus help defense makes blocking more important

I know, that 3 events is not convincing, but it takes time to make more stats, because for me there is no other chance than watch whole the match. Later I'll put here complete stats of my PL match.
If there is no defender in commentary I can't know who really defended ... so for my stats it's like no defender.

Just to ask, is that normal what happened in this game on the rebound?

http://www.buzzerbeater.com/BBWeb/boxscore.aspx?MatchID=15023681

man to man against 1-3-1 look the stadistics

14 52 against 14 50

I dunno if you think this is normal but, is really need a 15 rebound on your PF or C when PG/SG/ can take a lot of rebounds even with a 1-3-1?
The PG took 4 9 which is really a lot and SG 3 6 but with a 1-3-1 defense?

I dunno where is the sense, maybe having on the PG/SG minimum rebound 7 rather than having a high level of rebound on your PF/C, and with 1-3-1 :/
