Day trading might be an option if you have time or if you don't find it unethical. But this is totally a different subject.

form is temporary class is permanent

Buying players for a low price (at the low end of or lower than their TPE) and immediately reselling them for a high price (at the high end of their TPE).

(TPE = transfer price estimate)

Buy cheap, sell for a higher price. Rinse and repeat. It's the cancer of manager games in my opinion, but some others like it. It's not illegal in BuzzerBeater. However, there is a mechanism that limits the usefulness of this "basketball strategy".

I'd say in BB it's quite impossible to do it with lots of players, the more you sell, the lower percentage of the sale sum you get, I was down to 40% last season, and didn't even day trade...

Is there a way of finding out how much a player is worth or do you make up a suitable price?

Check the transfer market for similar players, and the Transfer Compare on the player's page.

I use the "Rainman Methodology". Every player is worth "about a hundred dollars".

Don't ask what sort of Chunks they are, you probably don't want to know. Blowing Chunks since Season 4!
