I have no idea how many extra fans a PR guy can bring to the table but I can still get over $60k a week with a lvl 2 PR guy.

I'm guessing your PR man must be able to fill more seats or allow you to raise prices. I'm surprised your lvl 5 guy only bought you in 35-40k.

Wow. Me too. From your post and the other guy saying that PR guys don't influence merch, I am a little confused. When I went from level 5 to level 6 there was an immediate and drastic rise in my weekly sales. Tickets did not change much at all. In fact, my ticket sales have been down even though I have not lost a league or cup game in over 50 games. Maybe my new guy has the hidden "closet drunkard" ability.

yeah seems weird... the only reason i have a level 2 guy is because i dont mind paying 10k or so to swap about the speciality depending on if im at home or away in the BB3.... i guess all research will be re-set now with the new calculations kicking in as of next monday... i figure if i see a drastic down turn in attendences, I will just increase ticket prices..... Im yet to be convinced i need a higher PR guy.

I had a PR guy lvl 10 (old system) for 1 season and half some times ago and I didn't had any benefit in the merchandising neither on the ticket sale. I decided to wait the new season cause I hoped he can help to enlarge the fan basis but also in this case I had a very bad surprise. At the end I think that specialists have been created to force us to spend money, dunno what do you think but I think that also the doc and the coach doesn't worth the money spent to buy them.

I figure if my attendences go sub 20,000 then i should be able to increase prices a bit..... from memory the announcement hints less people will come to the games but it doesnt hint the ones that still turn up will pay less.

Changed from level 4 to level 6 PR-guy. Will be interesting to see if merchandise and wage income will increase with more than the $10000 I paid extra. Right now I have merchandise sell for 21k and gate receipts of ~155k per match. Will let you know if the difference is high enough to compensate. Shouldn't the gate receipts also have a positive influence on the player performance? Should it not motivate home players to do better?

then from the last couple of posts, perhaps merchandise revenue is relative to the arena income... ?

Quite likely to be the case. Not at all confident that I made a wise decision to improve my PR manager.

but i think the balance is the old, it makes no sense to offer low prices when they are in every constelation a bad decision.

Low prices, means cencessary bigger arena(not that big then today), and a bit more income through this additional investment. I don't think they just cut down 300 visitors all the time, i think they cut down maybe 10% of the visitors which makes the variance of prices still usefull.
