If you buy 18year old superstar, you do it to train these players for more than a season,if you want to train a player and sell it in a season you can buy players with starter/star potential at much more lower price

but do we really need to wait for 3 months to sell our player?

Yes.

That's roughly one full season, and most players do not change teams more than once a season in the NBA, for example.

A CT? Really?
Any two will do

I understand that you do not want to encourage daytime trading but do we really need to wait for 3 months to sell our player?

i have no problem to sell a player after 3-4 weeks, because the taxes are reducing pretty fast in the first weeks and when you get a good deal you still get enough money out of it.
