I'm afraid it's harder than that. The username used to connect is not the forum nickname (the one you can change), it's the one you use to login (unchangeable, as long as I know)...

I thought it was the same, at less in my case. The password to login to any external application is different than the one that we use to login BB, and for external applis you have to create it at Preferences. Thanks for make me know it.
