Thanks for the reply. He's pretty good for my low division though! Ha, ha. As for one position training, will that cause ancillary increases as well? I hate to train just one position as I feel the rest of my team doesn't improve. Is that really the best strategy?

Well my estimate is that 2 position training trains about 70% of 1 position training. I think it depends on how many good trainees u have or can afford to buy. Another way to look at it is u could do:

Option 1: 1 position training for big guys and save your money to buy guards. At the end of 2 seasons u might have strong big guys and decent guards.

Option 2: 2 position training for big guys and save money to buy guards. At the end of 2 seasons u sell a couple of the trainees off. Your big guys won't be as strong as Option 1 but u will have more money to spend on guards.

The options are endless but at least it gets u thinking.

The reality is that you can't train all your players in this game. The plan should be to one or two position train and sell some of the trained players to get enough money to buy good quality players in the positions you're not training.

re: Extreme salaries
It's important to remember that salary increases are not linear, so the difference between the cost of respectable to strong jump shot, and the difference cost difference between prolific and sensational are not even close. It takes a lot of pops to get a player from $5000 to $15000, but it takes a lot less to get a player from $20000 to $30000.

Well estimate might be the wrong word its more a guess. I know that training 2 position is more then then 50% of 1 position. I've mentioned 70% before and another GM has said thats probably about right. If your had another number in mind i would be happy to hear it.
