Driving is one of the factors that increases ur FG% and gives you better shot opportunities
If you're PG (or your team in general ) do not posses great passing skills
A SG with better driving skills is good since they are the ones that takes most of the shots
( in general not considering alot of other factors)
for a run and gun tactic team for example my self, a PG and a SG with good driving skills is more esseintial

So I think that you will train him to driving because I can imagine that other Sg skills are awesome ...

no i will work on the OD, and Range and maybe a bit passing. Probadly if i train him from the beginning he would have a bit more, driving but personally i don't rate it very high and look at his stats of the past season his skill combinations works.

In the italian nt there are(or at least was) a lot of those players like that.

Even if my study about driving was for the big men (showed that is actually useless) i think that is not very important for the guards too. Ive bought my SG (2370199) for 4.2M x-France NT member and his driving is only 8. Yes driving is cheap, but what u pay what u get. I rate driving among with SB as the least useful skills of the game. Maybe this can change in the future but for now thats my opinion

but in different to blocking, the driving training isn't bad because it trains JS(maybe IS too) and handling.

yeah it trains it a bit, but you won't get those tons of secondary pops like driving training. We had a SF in the german NT who get very much driving training in the beginning, through the secondary pops he was a great player even in young years - do the train wit a player training Sb you fail.

Edit: + the faster Training after the driving training, it is trained alot as secondarys so i expect it also interacts a lot when it coming to training speed - at least OD get trained pretty fast for him.

Thats why i rate driving as the 2nd least useful skill and not 1st.
