haha. But seriously, I didn't get that many more free throws than him, he is in a higher division and a much much better team. He out matched me in the matchup ratings for all except Perimeter Defence, and his player match up ratings beat me in all but 1 position. Also he had much higher player ratings for the game than I did.

I realise I had a home court advantage, but still. Maybe it was just enthusiasm that tipped it in my favour? I had enthusiasm level of 9, maybe he had a really low level?

Any ideas?

his matchup ratings was better but not not, so random plays on your side plus the fact that he can hit free throws so that his extra possessions are used purely.

PS: matchup rating are the points per 100 shots, the normal ratings he failed in comparision outside defence against outside attack was was the main attack ;) But i don't give much on this rating they are far off, since the new engine.

but that he played those 2-3 zone make it easy for you, for him it gives nearly no rebounding advantage(because he should outrebound you at the defensiv end easily with man to man or 3-2), but loose the attack/defence contribution through it. If he won't play it, you need buckets full of luck so rigth tactics + homecourt do a lot in your favour.

The rating system does not say it all, so don't trust it.

2-3 zone allow u to shoot outside.

opponet didn't control tempo going into last 2 minutes, while still leading by 4

he didn't make his ft late game

...My enthusiasm was about 6-8 before the game and I went with Crunch time... I got home advantage, and I think better percents too...

its a petty even game,u have better setting and he has better players
at the end, ur opponent got the killer 3 that ice the game

i think it come down to scoring efficient, he got 32fg, u got 24, that means he got the ball to his PF and go from there, while u are counting on u pg's hand feel
