Your computer's time is probably not set the same as the BB server time. Since the bidding is extended by 3 minutes every time there is a bid within the final 3 minutes, I would suggest just using the BB server time (located in the top middle of the screen, but slightly to the right...next to the number of people who are online) instead of using your computer's clock. Hopefully this helps

another explanation could be, that the BB servers not running on the same time, there are sometimes differences from a few seconds.

So the auction expired at your server, but another server say i got a bid in time let the auction run another 3 min.
